I had high hopes when we headed here to try this place. It's tucked back in a small corner of a more contemporary shopping area in Hernando and it is super cute and trendy from the outside. The google reviews were excellent so I was fairly confident that it would be a pleasant experience, however, that was not the case. Our waitress, as pleasant and chatty as she was, barely checked on us after taking our order initially, which took much longer than it should have. The waitress even told us that she was going to be taking orders for another table or 2 that had arrived AFTER we did but she would be back to take our order soon. Little to no updates were provided about the status of our order except when we flagged down our waitress, who's only response was that the kitchen was SO SLAMMED with the lunch rush which was difficult to understand because the "lunch rush" was in the process of making a mass exodus when we arrived so more than half of the restaurant was empty. It took over an hour to get breakfast food and when it finally arrived, all of the food on every single one of the four plates, was cold. Is there anything worse than a cold omelet?? I politely informed the waitress about the food, without asking for anything in exchange, she volunteered to talk to her manager. After waiting another 10 minutes for her to return from speaking with her manager, she had yet to return, I flagged her down and just asked for the check since the food was inedible, we were still hungry and tired of waiting. The waitress had not "had a chance" to talk to her manager so we went ahead and paid the check, in full, and left 4 nearly a full plates of food on the table. After re-reading the positive reviews online, I can only assume that this was a one-off terrible day at Bazar but it is highly unlikely that I would return to give it...

My mom and I are done with Bazar Bakery & Breakfast. We normally go here everytime I come to visit and every single time we are served undercooked or old microwaved food. This time my mom got the stuffed French toast and the bread was so soggy(undercooked) it was straight up disgusting. It turned into a gross watery paste(its raw egg actually) in your mouth- this is not french toast- which is sad because the dish concept sounds amazing. The chef dropped the ball, or maybe the owner is cutting corners on ingredient quality. The grits weren't cooked all the way and the Avocado was the cheap brownish green goo you get pre-made from the grocery store. Neither of us complained, we ate what we could, paid, tipped and got a cinnamon roll on the way out thinking that was the only thing Bazar seemed to do well anymore. Get home and heat up the cinnamon roll and whoever made them forgot to put sugar in the frosting? In the whole thing? It's literally bread with cinnamon and cream cheese. It's not a cinnamon roll and it's not Bazars normal recipe.

Idk what's going on, if you lost some staff or something but we aren't coming back. 39 bucks for 3 things and tip and not a single one was remotely good.

Sorry to leave a bad review, i normally dont say anything if i dont have anything nice to say but this is the third time in a row, and the prices exceed...

While visiting my mom in Horn Lake, I decided to eat breakfast at a local restaurant today instead of a chain restaurant. My mom said "Let's try this place in Hernando. I ate there once and it was good."

The restaurant is located in a little shopping plaza, parking is very tight.

Once we got on the in there I was overwhelmed and excited about the decor! There was music was playing. There is also a small gift shop to the left when you walk in.

After being seated, we were greeted by our server. After looking at the menu, I was undecided between the Bazar Platter and Sausage acream cheese casserole. The server told me something that made lots of sense "you can get pancakes and meat anywhere, but not necessarily a sausage casserole" I was like that make sense, and I am looking to try something new!

✨ Wow! What a surprise! ✨ It came to the table looking like a little pillow—so cute, I almost didn’t want to eat it. But once I took a bite... WOW. The flavor blew me away! The bread was soft and buttery, the sausage was perfectly seasoned, and the texture combination was AMAZING. It literally melted in my mouth.

If you’re thinking about trying it—DO IT. You won’t regret it!

The service was amazing as well! Everyone was nice...

I’ve been to Bazar’s several times over the last 6 months. Never had any kind of major issues until this past weekend. I arrived along with a few others around 1.45 on Sunday afternoon. It says on their Google listing that they’re open until 3 pm on Sundays. When I tried to go in the door was locked. I tried the second door. It was locked too. They had several people in there. Including customers. But nobody came to the door. I called them. I asked the lady that answered the phone if they were open. She said they were but they closed at 2 o’clock. I told her it said on their Google account they were open until 3. She told me no it was 2, but to come on in. I told her I couldn’t because the doors were locked. She said “well I can’t do anything about that.” So we left and went somewhere else. I wrote something to them on FB about this. Because it’s really irritating when we go out of our way to go somewhere that says they close at 3 and the doors are locked at 1.45. But no one ever responded to what I told them on FB. So I don’t guess they care if we come back or not 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wow... Just wow. Stop reading this review and get in your car and go eat at Bazar's. You won't be disappointed. I got the biscuits and gravy, bacon, two eggs over medium, hash browns, and OJ. The gravy was richly flavored and full of sausage. This was no sausage flavored flour gravy with no meat... It was the real deal made just right with butter and milk and smothered over a soft flakey biscuit. Perfection. The bacon... Normally a humble breakfast staple, was significantly better than most restaurants. They clearly bought the thick cut and baked it just right. I have experimented with different temperatures and cook times for baked bacon and know how finicky it can be. Any errors in temperature or time and you get bacon that is chewy or burned. This was the perfect crunchy, buttery, airy bacon that makes baking the bacon worth the extra hassle. Well done. Hash browns were crispy and hot, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Great food, wonderful service, cozy surroundings... What more could you ask for. Go give these great people your business!
