I had such high hopes for this place. Upon arrival my booth chair was broken and I sat in a hole with no cushion for the entirety of the meal with ripped vinyl scratching on my legs the whole time. My father could feel the boards and nails coming through on his side. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. After the first round which took a few minutes, it took over 15 minutes with our bottles sitting at the end of the table for a refill before my husband got fed up and went to the bar. It was NOT busy and defibately not busy enough for every drink at the table to be empty and sitting for 15 minutes. Our appetizers came out and looked great, tasted awful. We got the spinach dip and the mozzarella bread with marinara dip. The bread for the spinach dip was so stale and covered in a rancid tasting olive oil that it literally tasted like they got it out of the garbage. The spinach dip had barely any flavor to it at all. The Mozz. Bread and dip was okay but nothing fantastic. Whole table ordered steaks for entrees, they came back and told us they were out of filets which was the whole reason my Mother wanted to celebrate her birthday there. She settled for a NY strip, my FIL the sirloin, and my husband and I were going to split the 40oz tomahawk ribeye. It took FOREVER for our food to come out, which was wild since they were not busy and our steaks were all medium rare. Then they were all terrible. Only one was eaten and only because he just was so hungry he couldnt stand it. He said he would just deal with it but said the flavor and texture of the meat was not good at all. When mine and my husbands came out, it looked great, but was so nasty. It was fatty and full of the nastiest hard gristle. We asked for the steak medium rare, it came out so rare the blood was pouring out of it, the steak was hot on the outside and totally cold on the inside and the darkest purple color. So we sent it back. Told them just cook it to medium then. Came back 5 minutes later and the part where we cut it the first time was cooked but there was no change when we cut into the inside. So we cut the whole steak up thinking maybe that was just a rare spot. Nope, found nothing but not even good fat but rubbery and hard hard gristle and raw meat. For a 40oz steak there was maybe 8oz of actual steak and it was so full of cold blood you could smell it. Don't get me wrong we can eat a medium rare steak with bloody juices no problem but straight cold blood, no. The potatoes tasted dirty like they hadn't been washed. And had been sitting already made under a warmer most the day. My husbands mashed potatoes he said were okay but they had a weird dry skin on the outside like they had been sitting forever. My mother's sour cream on her baked potato, she said smelled like a foot so she didnt touch it and her steak was so chewy she took one tiny bite and left the rest. They took off our 40oz steak after we refused it the second time coming back out, but we still had to pay for the potatoes. Which was ok since I did eat more than one bite of but they were not good. The waitress was pleasant but didnt check on us nearly enough and we had to ask for almost everything, nothing was anticipated and empty cups and more drinks to be filled sat forever and then we had to ask instead of her asking us if we would like another round. Then they brought a manager over and wanted me to explain in great detail what was wrong with my food, which I had no problem doing but being it was my Mother's birthday and us ALL having a problem with our food, I felt they could've at least comped her a drink or a dessert, something other than oh want me to just get you something different. No we wanted our food correct or at least not to pay for all this disgusting food we all so clearly didnt hardly touch. Our bill was $200 for only one person to eat and a total of 5 beers and 2 cocktails. It was awful and we were so disappointed. The only reason they got a star is because I had to put at least one and because at least the bartender could mix a...
Read moreWe Set our reservations at 6 pm two weeks ago. table wasn't ready for 15 minutes because a large party came in and they had to move us. Hostess is young and seemed overwhelmed. She didn't deliver bad news well or listen to understand, only to respond. She forgot us and let 4 couple who arrived AFTER us be seated and asked us again if we had a reservation. Once seated our table cloth was extremely wrinkled without silver water or napkins and an unlit candle. Now the waitress was the best part of the night. I was angry coming in and she kept a positive happy upbeat attitude and it helped me change my mood. The menu was missing what sides they had so I had to ask. The filet mignon was great, it was seasoned well, cooked a little over my medium rare but it was delicious. The prime rib was nice and soft, not to fatty BUT it was sitting on a over done beef bullion, not Au Just. Now the sides, baked potatoes great. The mushrooms fillet mignon a special request so I don't want to comment on. The spinach is from a can. They were disgusting. The green beans were over seasoned in an herb I think thyme and under cooked. We didn't ask for the sides to be fixed because it was obvious there wasn't going to be a good alternative and they are included in the price of the meal. For our total of $150 with 2 drinks, it wasn't worth it. I won't return. I do need to say they have great potential they need to hire a better front house manager and revaluate their sides to offer...
Read moreTrust me when I say, you do not want to eat here! The only positive thing is that my meal was free. I was there for a presentation and the company paid for the meal, otherwise I would’ve definitely asked for my money back! Every steak that came out at our table was so tough you could hardly chew it. Only one steak out of the four was cooked correctly and we heard people at the other tables complaining of the same thing. These were supposed to be filet mignons, but they were all so tough AND had gristle. My steak was about a half inch thick & “knotty”, while the other three steaks were about 2 inches thick. Because we were sitting through a presentation and could not leave early, we each drowned the steaks in steak sauce. The fourth person at our table ordered a medium rare steak, which should have been simple to do, and yet her steak was also over cooked and she did not even get her meal until everyone else in the room was finished eating. My Caesar salad was already soggy when they brought it out; the lady across from me even commented that they forgot to finish putting the salad in my bowl, because only the bottom of the bowl was covered. We got three breadsticks for four people. The servers were confused and it was chaotic even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and we had about five or six servers in the room. They had to take our order twice. They need to improve in every area is...
