We looked up reviews before we went and the only significant negative reviews we saw were for the long wait time. Well I don't know about you, but I can stand to wait a bit longer for good food, so we decided to give it a try. Went through the drive through and ordered a bacon burger combo, a chicken sandwich combo, a pineapple frosty, and the Cinnabon pull apart. Well the very first thing we noticed was the long drive through line. Okay, we were prepared for the wait. No big deal! Pull up to the speaker and wait a few more minutes before someone finally comes over the speaker to take our order. Again, no big deal. Here's the kind of big deal though. This girl wouldn't even let me finish each sentence before she "is that it?"ed me. I mean, every single thing I ordered was followed very rashly with an "is that it?" As if I was taking up HER time. Ugh... okay, on to the next window. Our drinks were already in the window when we pulled up. And that's where they sat while we waited some more. (It's a bit comical at this point, I know) Well the young lady at this particular window was having a much worse night than the first girl and couldn't even be bothered to look at us let alone be civil. She finally hands us our food and I offer the typical "thank you, have a great night!" Which I'm certain she didn't hear since she was quick to slam the window closed. Okay... I pull off to the side and check our food. Sandwiches look AMAZING and the fries were fresh as!! Heck yeah! A little waiting pays off, right?! Wrong! We drive home and come straight in to devour our picturesque sandwiches, only to find that the bacon on my BACON burger is so old/burnt I can hardly even chew it! Okay, that really really sucks, but definitely not enough to worry about a review to be honest. I pulled the bacon off and ate the rest of my very good minus the bacon sandwich. Well, hubs starts to eat his frosty and says while it tastes good, there's hardly any pineapple in it! Bummer. Okay, strike 2ish? Well... I reach for my dessert (that Cinnabon that looks so yummy on the posters they have plastered EVERYWHERE) and it's a dried up ROCK. I'm not kidding yall. It's like old stale bread with maybe a hint of cinnamon and a drizzle of glaze. What even is this?! I'm so disappointed and I swear I tried to give yall the benefit of the doubt so bad tonight. I truly thought Hernando would come...
Read moreThis place has suddenly gone down hill. Typically this is one of the only Wendy's locations we consistantly had good experiences with as it's not in a core larger city and seemed to mimic the rest of Hernando's level of execution in dining. It seems as though it's now maybe under new leadership and have restaffed with a disengaged staff. The last visit in particular was the final trip. Friday night so I expected a wait and the typcial shortness of dialogue. The lady that took our order was polite and thorough. Everyone that followed was not. The first guy opened the window and handed me the drinks only, stating they were out of cup holders. A few minutes later, a young lady opened the window, tossed a bag to me and abruptly closed it before I had time to ask any questions. I waited a few minutes staring inside trying to get attention to ask where my salad was and our straws along with the toys for the kids meals. 3 of them starred back talking amongst themselves and finally the guy came back. I asked for those 3 items. He said they didn't have any toys. No big deal as they would have hit my trash soon anyway but it's common courtesy to tell us as we order that part of it will not be included rather than let the kids discover as we drive off. He then proceeded to tell another person to grab my salad as she tried to argue saying I didn't get one and then that she already handed it to me. Once again they opened the window to hand me my salad and as I was asking for my straws they closed it again. Rinse and repeat a staring contest and flagging them down. Another person opens the window and says "what"? I stated that I'm waiting on my straws and her response was "ah sh**" in front of the kids in the car. At that point I asked for their manager or supervisor and I was directed to a Nicole who didn't seem to care that I didn't think it was appropriate to lean out of a window and use that language in front...
Read moreIm telling y’all do not go here. I have worked in fast food for 7 plus years and this place tops them all. The management is completely incompetent. They just want to argue and talk over you when you point out they were wrong and made our order incorrectly. I tried to have a supervisor, male, fix the order and he wanted to just tell me how it was all our fault that the order was wrong. First off they have someone taking orders that doesn’t know the menu. Second, the manager at the 2nd window has the nastiest attitude and told us that we were the one who put the order in wrong... this place is a joke. If y’all want a decent fast meal, go somewhere else and save some money while doing it. It’s not worth anyone’s sanity to visit this place. If I could give them less stars...
