Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Hernando

If I could leave 0 stars, I definitely would. I have lived in Hernando over 20 years and have eaten at every place here a hundred times including this Zaxby’s location. Sure there have been times in the past when my order was wrong, but that’s to be expected every now and then with fast food and young(er) staff - it honestly has never been a big deal. But today!! Today, my son and I decide to dine inside. The first red flag is a staff member cussing her other staff members out telling them she’s leaving and “not to piss her off”. Second red flag is the drink machine being down (again) which has become a regular occurrence apparently. But the final straw was when my son and I are in the booth eating and a GIANT COCKROACH crawls across my sons feet & when we alert the staff, we get cussed out and talked about for saying something. How are you going to be mad at me because you have roaches?? That’s crazy. Definitely will be calling the health inspector as well. I threw the food I ordered in the trash! What a waste! I have been a regular customer to this Zaxby’s location for years. It has slowly become worse over the years. I was willing to put up with a few small things until tonight. My Fiancé and I ordered a Nibbler Meal and Kickin Chicken Sandwich meal. I got all the way home and opened my kickin chicken sandwich box and it literally had 7 fries in it. I counted them out. I couldn’t believe what I had just been given. I called and the manager said she would replace it. When I returned to get it replaced the manager wouldn’t come out from the kitchen and proceeded to make someone else take care of having my meal replaced. She didn’t come to offer me an apology and has no sense of customer service. The attitude that was given was that this was my fault because I made a big deal about only having seven fries. They're way high priced in my opinion. Nothing they serve is special enough to garner the prices they charge. Don't get me wrong, I like them. But I can get better food for the same price or the same food for less at plenty of places. That said, this evening wasn't their best attempt at service either. They had me pull around to the front of the building after paying so they could carry my food to me when it was ready. The parking lot HAS to have something done because with one way in and out, I couldn't sit where they asked me to and I was blocked in once I had my food and was ready to leave. Worst thing is they bring me my food and apologize that they forgot my fried pickles until just then and so it'd be another 5-10 minutes wait.
