I visited Mayuri, an Indian restaurant that many people in our community love. I was excited to try their new Friday lunch buffet. I had enjoyed their Saturday and Sunday buffets before, so I had high hopes. The Friday buffet had many tasty dishes, including butter chicken, biryanis , chicken pakoda and vegetarian options like palak paneer , bonda, dosa and Okra Pakoda Fry. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The naan bread was soft and went well with the rich curries. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were very attentive. They kept the buffet stocked and clean, even during the busy lunch hour. It was a pleasant dining experience. To finish my meal, I had Mango Delight, which was delicious. Overall, Mayuri’s Friday lunch buffet is a great addition. The food is high quality, and the atmosphere is friendly, making it a perfect choice for anyone who loves Indian food. I’ll definitely come back to enjoy it again!

We initially went to have their thali meals. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that their lunch buffet was from Fridays-Sundays every week. Since it was also valentines day, the place was decorated with heart shaped balloons which we got to take home too. The place was very clean and seemed to be popular with the locals, which is a good sign. The buffet has quite a lot of items. First the first time I saw idli and dosa at the buffet station. Was really good! Another item worth mentioning is their goat curry. Was perfectly seasoned and tender--not too spiced as to overpower your taste buds. Would definitely be back just for the idli, sambar, and goat curry! And definitely try their masala chai at the end of your meal. Looking forward to bringing more friends and family to this hidden gem!

Your favorite CHETTINADU CHICKEN! For almost a year and a half, I was ordering Chettinadu Chicken from this place. Lately, I was feeling that there was something wrong with the dish. Last time I ordered this chicken from Mayuri was on 05/31/2022. I couldn't finish the whole thing and kept it in refrigerator. Next day it look horribly wrong. I went to the restaurant and spoke to Mr. Pradeep (owner), and he said that it is not Chettinadu Chicken. I asked, "what do you think, am I lying". And he said. "May be". He doesn't really understand how to treat customers. Note: I showed him the picture (attached) and also took the receipt with me. Eventually he said that it might be chicken oil and refunded my money. I have never experienced this kind of issue before at any other place.

Visited the restaurant when it opened at noon today. They weren't quite finished setting up so there were people running around yet. I flagged someone down and asked if I could take one of the booths by the window. That was okay so I sat and waited for a few minutes till things settled down. One of the men brought me a watermelon shooter (non alcoholic) which was quite tasty but very small. Other than that there were only two bottles of water already on the table. I'm not crazy about plain water so I didn't drink either of these bottles. A lady came and set up a table behind me and began making what appeared to be meatless tacos. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time and a man finally came over and said you can start, meaning I could serve myself from the buffet. All the food was marked, unfortunately I didn't know what the names meant. I found out later from listening to a conversation that the servers had with other people that the food had been positioned in an L shape and everything on the left was vegetarian, while everything on the right was meat based. People started to come in at that point and the place filled up fairly well. After I got my food from the buffet and put it on the table, I went to the lady who was making the tacos and asked if I could have one. I also asked her what was in the taco and she didn't answer so I assumed she didn't speak English. Later I heard someone else ask her something and she did in fact speak English. She also never smiled. She just motioned for me to take it and leave I guess. No one ever asked me if I wanted a drink so I went without anything to drink for the meal. When I finished the first plate of food I put it off to the side and went back for another piece of chicken. There was also a smaller plate on the table from the taco I had eaten. No one ever came to clear off the dirty plates so my table became crowded with things I was trying to push off to the side so they wouldn't be in my way. A couple of the men were pleasant and smiled. No one ever came by to ask me if everything was all right. No one ever even came close enough that I could ask them to give me my check, and no one ever did give me a check. So I finally just got up and walked to the cash register and paid at the cash register. It would have been nice if someone could have communicated some of these things to me. While the food was good, I never really felt welcome there. I'm sure it was a lot of work preparing the food, but there are certain niceties that people just expect when they are in a restaurant. Apart from the little watermelon drink at the beginning, there really isn't anything else good I could say about the service at...

It was the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. The only dish I ever eat is the eggplant and Gobi. As I was looking on the menu, I had to ask the nice gentleman what their version of eggplant was. He told me, and I proceeded to order that along with Onion Samosas. Another gentleman then brought out Samosas, and when I asked the original gentleman about the Onion Samosas I ordered, he said, "Oh, I thought you said Samosas."" He did nothing to rectify the situation, and quite naturally, I didn't want to seem combative, so I said nevermind. I didn't eat the Samosas, nor were they taken off of my bill as a mistake that the server made. The eggplant came out, and the presentation was very nice. It was colorful, but I immediately noticed two chili's on my food when I knew I told my server mild. I tasted the eggplant, and it was so bland. The flavor was lacking, but the spice was there. I honestly thought when my server saw how slow I was eating and asked me if I was pleased that he would again try to rectify the problem by maybe offering something else. I will say he kept trying to offer me butter chicken as if that was their specialty, but not everyone eats meat. I was not pleased, and the only reason why I decided to try this place out was because of the picture and the assumption that they had a buffet. When my server explained to me how their buffer worked, I immediately knew that there would be too much food for one person, so I opted for the entree instead. When I got up to pay for my food, my server asked me again if I was pleased, I immediately said no, and there was nothing done to try to appease me as a first-time customer. I will never try this restaurant out again as they don't believe in repeat...

Tried weekdays and weekends lunch buffets here many times. Each time eaten there the foods were just amazing, aromatic, incredible rich flavors with delicious marinated spices transported me to India as I was there enjoying authentic experiences of local cuisines.

The restaurant staffs were super friendly busy worked hard to accommodate all customers. The variety of buffet dishes with tea and ice cream desert just made pleasant, enjoyable and provide opportunity moment slow down to soak in the experiences of a simple day.

I do imagine running a restaurant is hard and even more challenge offered buffet style so the local customers get to sample the variety of Indian cuisine cooking. My greatest compliments to restaurant owner and staffs, hope could continue the great services weekly in anyway could to local community.

Coming out of the pandemic, economic going through inflation, global ongoing turmoil conflicts, etc… restaurants humbly need community strong local customers support in anyway could greatly appreciated to continue offer variety cuisines locally. It is a win to local community development so we all thrive together.

Please engage with restaurant owner and staffs in anyway they could help correct any issue encountered or do better there or later would be constructive and helpful rather slander restaurant business in a review just not who each of us is. When possible help each other collectively as a community we come out as winners or lose if picked on each other.

Thank you to all the restaurants and local customers for their services and supports, so...
