Almost every worker here is rude. They have a face on that says don’t ask me nothing. They give you dirty looks when you need help like if you’re bugging them while they’re on the clock. Ever since getting those self checkouts they don’t have any register open and if they do it’s only 1. The line gets long and instead of opening another register they direct you to their annoying self checkout. You can’t even bag your food while scanning your stuff. I’ve been a couple times and when I get stuff that isn’t too heavy the scale on the self check out will say I didn’t place the item I scanned and usually a worker will walk up to you and ask what item is it that you didn’t scan or did you take it out? Like excuse me?! Like if I’m stealing or something. Yet they don’t want to open more than 1 register. You have to have a cart full of food to be able to get in line in the one register that they do have open. It’s ridiculous.
Also some of the older workers in the meat department are rude. Last time I took my mom to get meat and she asked if she could have it cut. The younger worker said yes no problem. Then here comes the older man and said no, we can’t do that it has to be sold like that. I’ve never heard of that. My mom lives down the hill and she’s always asked for her meat or chicken to be cut. Also the one in Victorville they cut your meat or chicken. Never heard of it not being able to be sold cut. Plus it wasn’t busy so there was not a line of people waiting. It’s also not just the older man who is rude, it’s also the older lady that is there some times. I’ve gone waited my turn to get chicken or meat and she walks over to the already packaged meats or chicken and tries to give me their packaged stuff. Read moreI went to buy a couple stuff today and when I went to pay for some reason the some of the veggies I was going to purchase with snap didn’t go through. The lady said maybe the bags but I’m paying with snap so there shouldn’t be a charge plus it was only 1 bag. Then she said certain veggies are not approved on snap. I’ve been to multiple stores Walmart, stater, I’ve never had an issue with purchasing any food items. Anyway, I also got premade fresh salsa and guacamole which is pretty pricey here and they went through, but not the veggies. This feels like fraud and should be investigated. I will be giving customer service a call to investigate because this is unacceptable. Food items especially veggies should be covered by snap. And yes I did have enough because I left the stuff and got premade salsa and guacamole and it covered that. Which was 4 times the amount of what would’ve costed for the veggies to make salsa and guacamole. Sounds like fraud and they want to make more with their premade stuff. Also their registers are never open. Only the self check out. And their self check out registers suck! If you have more than 10-15 items its so complicated and annoying.
I would like to add that the lady at the self check out came to help me and then said I could try at another self check out register and if it doesn’t go through I could leave the stuff. I said okay and we tried again and it didn’t go through. She then said certain things aren’t covered by snap even if it’s food.
