I had heard a lot of good things about this place and had been wanting to try it. We found it by accident while driving by looking for somewhere to eat and had to try it. You would never know without going inside how cute it is. It was busy that night, but we're still seated and served very quickly. I can't stress enough the INCREDIBLE, above and beyond service we got from both our waitress and the owner. I'm not one to complain about an order or send things back. My boil was just a little spicier than I had expected for the heat level I ordered. So I had asked for a side of melted butter, just to cut the heat a bit. She said she'll take it back and give me another order with less heat. I told her it wasn't necessary, but she insisted, saying she wanted her customers to enjoy the food. Which WAS delicious, so I wasn't caring much about the added heat anyway! 😂 But she took mine back, and a little bit later, the owner comes out apologizing COMPLETELY UNNECESSARILY, with my fresh order. On top of that, he DOUBLED my 1 lb order, to 2 lbs for free! As a small business owner myself, I really value small businesses who go out of their way to keep their customers happy. I can't say enough about this wonderful restaurant with DELICIOUS food choices at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back often. A hidden little gem in...
Read moreTo be honest the food was not great, I personally will not be going back. I got the 1lb of whole shrimp (they do not let you do 1/2 a pound), shabang classic, medium heat and a side of the egg. The sauce tasted like they put wayyyy to much of a spice; oregano or cloves I can’t put my finger on it, that ruined the whole thing for me. Not to mention the boiled egg tasted old and had an odd color inside. The shrimp was also overcooked or something because it was very hard to peel and very mushy. Stopped eating the overpriced garbage after a few bites and now feel like vomiting. My fiancé did like it though so it will ultimately depend on your taste buds he had the peeled shrimp and crawfish, shabang classic no heat. He tried my shrimp and agreed it was bad and mushy but he liked his peeled shrimp. Ultimately it is not worth the price for me. We paid almost $50 for both of us and I did not end up eating my food. He did end up getting grossed out by the craw fish but he still liked the...
Read moreI've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time as I love Cajun food. I was not disappointed. I love the decor and the waitress, whose name I was sure to get, was fabulous but I forgot her name. She was handling not only table service but to go service and answering the phone and she did a fantastic job! I want to say her name was something like Elisa. I wasn't that hungry so instead of ordering the large buckets I opted for an oyster po-boy and cajun fries. I almost felt like I was back in New Orleans. I was so ready to dive in that I even forgot to take a picture till it was partially eaten LOL. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go again. They do have happy hour from I believe 4 until 7 and they discount some drinks and food. Unfortunately Google didn't remind me to review this place until about a month after I ate there so that's why I don't remember to happy hour times, what was on the menu or the waitress's name. Blame it on Google or just my...
