Long review.
A friend told me about this spot so I decided to check them out. I went in new and asked which pho I should try. I ordered chicken pho, shrimp spring rolls and fried shrimp. When my order came, quick btw. My order of shrimp spring rolls came with a dipping sauce. On top I saw crushed what looked like nuts. So having a nut allergy I asked if it was nuts, telling her I had a nut allergy. She told me no it was instead some sort of crumbed food instead, forget the actual name, but it wasn't nuts. So taking up the roll and a good size dip I tasted the what I was told not having any nuts sauce. As soon as I did I instantly thought "that tasted like peanuts." Though believing the lady I hesitantly put the roll down and moved on to my fried shrimp. My throat however started feeling itchy and as soon as I unintentionally did the thing that "scratches" my throat I knew it was peanuts. I asked another employee if the sauce had nuts and he said yes, it was a "peanut sauce." He went to tell the lady, I soon hear "oh, I forgot, I forgot, yes, yes, THAT(the sauce) is peanut not the stuff that was on top." THANKFULLY, I had ordered Milk Tea, milk helps me whenever I did have allergic reactions. We speak, I tell her as my throat gets worse that I was just gonna leave. She tells me that she can take off the spring rolls but I have to pay for the rest of my meal. Even the pho I didn't eat or take a bite of. I say no and that I wanted to speak to her manager. She leaves I wait for some minutes, feeling worse I instead get up to find them. I speak to no manager, the people there act like nothing is wrong while I'm maybe not looking but inwardly getting worse. I tell another lady I'm not paying and I'm just gonna go. They ask me if I have medication and about my allergy. Feeling like my composure is about to boil over and just wanting to go home. I say, "I have no medication because thankfully my reaction is not severe, though if it was I could have died." They say nothing other than "drink some water when you get home maybe." I look back completely annoyed knowing water for my reaction isn't at ALL helpful. I haven't had a reaction in years, because I'm cautious and I ask. I'm walking out shaking, very upset, knowing what I was about to go through. I could have stayed called the cops and sued. However, I just wanted to be home during my suffering not speaking to the police . There was NO accountability, not one sorry, that I heard, there was NO comprise, she wanted me to pay for the rest of my meal. They did NOT care. I should've sued my Pops says I should've. Honestly, I was just too upset and wanted to keep myself calm and get away...

I went in person because that’s just wrong of them to do! I’ve never had issues with shrimp smelling so bad and he said it was “fresh” no it wasn’t… hopefully the family in there didn’t get the seafood & get sick because they want to serve seafood that’s NO GOOD! I’ve never had issues until today which is sad because my family orders from here often but after today not anymore… first off SUE was extremely rude maybe try to be nicer to your customers?? Anyways I brought my order home ONE of my items were the fresh shrimp spring rolls… I ate one & was going to have another u til I noticed the shrimp looked bad! They’re ROTTEN I took them out of the spring roll & they even smell I want to cry because not only did I leave the restaurant unhappy I also ate ROTTEN SHRIMP… I called the restaurant asked for a manager a man named “RANDY” answered the phone at about 3:15pm instead of trying to help me fix the issue he argued that they would never serve bad food and that the shrimp was fresh all day so I told him I’d post the photos here. He laughed and said go ahead and hung up as I was speaking… the shrimp smelled so bad 🤢 I never regretted buying food until now I’m so disgusted...
Read moreI used to dine here a lot and treated my friends here for the past 20 years I have been up here, as the best VN food Restaurant in the HD. Things have changed dramatically this last time. They changed their menu, recently, not as varied as ít used to be, the atmosphere is still the same, but in a busy night on a wednesday, they had only 1 nice waitress ( to whom I left $18+ Tips, on my Visa, that I was not even sure that this nice waitress will get after we left ? ) handling the whole restaurant by herself, except once in a while with the help from another lady dressed with a cold winter vest, ruining the entire atmosphere ( may be a relative of the Owner ? ) with some kind of attitude at other tables ( not my table with 2 guests of mine, Thank God ). Besides, I was shocked that a small foam container of extra Pho Broth only, for my guest who loved the Broth, was charged $6.50. And the Fried Rice with a few shrimps extra costed $ 4.75 extra ! The same with the yellow noodles sauteed , with some extra shrimp , got charged $4.75 extra ! My Bill total for 3 people came out to $140+. I would not mind that, if only their new menu would have mentioned what they would charge for extra order , but it did not ! I probably would take my friends somewhere...
