**2/25/25**I have been here many times now... excellent customer service! Great place to eat, families, single, kids. Lively atmosphere, almost always busy. Just remember, they are closed on Mondays. Armando is an amazing bartender and always provides the most excellent customer service!!Today I had 2 shredded beef tacos, added cilantro, onions, and lime. I opted for a blended mango margarita with Chammoy and Tajin. I added a shot of Grand Mariner to make it a Cadillac Mango Margarita....soooo delicious!!!I love their salsa. It has a little bite to it, but not too spicy, deliciously garlicky though. They also have a hot salsa, that will make your head sweat. You can add a touch to the regular salsa to make it the heat you like.***Update 1/29/2025 I love that they have a cozy bar, that if you're by yourself you can just come in and dine at the bar, if there's an open spot😊. They have an excellent Cadillac margarita! The customer service is awesome, they are super friendly, remember their regular customer's names, and a very helpful. Today I ordered shrimp tacos a la carte, I asked for them in the hard shell this time, they came with cabbage, onion and cilantro. I asked for extra lime and I made a garlic mayo to add on. The shrimp were grilled, which was awesome! They were super delicious. I LOVE their chips, perfect thickness and crispness, buttery flavor, not greasy tasting at all. Good salsa. New picture added. 9/2024 This is only my 3rd time here...not sure why, because their food is delicious. The customer service was an 8 out of 10. Friendly, attentive, and timely. They are closed on Mondays. I ordered to go, the other 2 times I ate there. Excellent customer service all 3 times. I ordered fish tacos, shrimp tacos, carne asada street tacos, and a large order of chips and salsa. The fish and shrimp were not too heavily breaded, crispy, and flavorful. They only put cabbage on them. They should have had cilantro and onions as well. While the fish and shrimp were cooked expertly, they were very plain. The cilantro and onions would definitely have helped, but they really needed a little crema or garlic mayo. I added some at home and it made a huge difference, in my opinion. The tortillas would have been better and not fallen apart so easily if they were lightly fried in oil, like the street tacos were. The street tacos were also delicious. The carne asada was tender and flavorful with no gristle. The large chips and salsa were ridiculous! The large salsa was the perfect size. Not too spicy, a little garlicky, and very flavorful. The chips were warm, crispy, not too much salt, so buttery...mmmmm.🤤 But the bag of chips was HUGE. Half that size would have been perfect with that size of salsa, in my opinion. I heard that the ownership has changed since my other two visits, but the customer service and quality remains the same or better.☺️ I definitely recommend them and I will be back...

I just ordered some food to go from this place. My total was $15 for one combo plate (which I do not mind paying btw).. and I asked for chips. You'd think I asked them for their first born child.. I ask for the manager and a young man (?) named Eddie with a lisp, butted into conversation.. Talking over the supposed "manager". He argued with me for 2 minutes over a bag of chips. I tgought I can't believe you're going to lose business over 15 corn chips and he said that's the way the owner wants it. I stated I was going to give them a review as I was leaving and he told me with a flip attitude "go ahead!!!" And start laughing.. As I opened the door to exit he yelled "Great!!! I will look for it and it makes me so happy..!" He started with snide remark and I just told him to stop it... This owner is a fool for keeping this person on their payroll. I am in The Culinary business and I would never let a person like this represent my company.. Now at store buying chips!! RIDICULOUS

Well, this is one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have been to in a long time! Every single food item was absolutely delicious! No wonder the place seems very popular evidenced by the large crowd we experienced on a Sunday afternoon. Even though they were extremely busy, our waiter did a tremendous job keeping up with our party of 8 and our constant cries for "more salsa, please"! Speaking of their salsa, it is the best! It is not very hot at all, just bursting with flavor! The atmosphere is charmingly decorated in traditional Mexican style which adds to an already wonderful experience! Located in a strip mall, on Main St. in Hesperia, the outside is not what you would expect. Don't let the "strip mall" appearance fool you because inside, this restaurant packs a power punch of flavor!

I have been to La Casita a few times and probably the last year and the service was absolutely terrible but today really topped it off. We got seated right away then sat there for a while until our waitress came over and took our drink orders. Then we waited probably about another 20 minutes until somebody came back to take our food order. And two of us didn't get our drinks until after our food came out ...We had two different waitresses. Which led to being told two different things by two different people. For instance we asked one of them if it was happy hour and she said yes ALLL day, and since there's not a drink menu with prices we figured that was happy hour toward everything like anywhere else l....Then we got our food and to our orders were screwed up. She fix it by just bringing it on the side which was fine ... we go up front to check out and it was beyond shocking when we each got $70 plus bills!!!!!! I have never paid that much there ever!!! So then we start asking questions and 3 people had to come over to try to tell us something different again. Because of the simple fact that nobody really was clear with their menu or they're happy hour...... so we all had to pay a $70 bill for some of the poor service I've ever had in my life!!!! if I had an option to give 0 Stars I would definitely did so!!! I will never be returning back here again!!! PS wouldn't say the best...

If you care about the safety of your family do not Eat here. As a former employee I can tell you that their food Handling practices will have you running for the door. When you arrived you are Served chips and salsa Mainly by the bus boy or the server if it's busy. They refuse to use the chip scoop. They used their bare hands even though they're handling money just to save time. the servers are short and rude and are just in a hurry to move tables and get the next tip. In the kitchen I've witness them pull sapa out of the fryer and drop it on the floor, pick it up below it off and put it on the play. They use the same towel all day to hold fried Food they brought up out of the fryer To hold that before placing it on your plate And use the same towel to wipe their hands and their area clean And continue using the same Dirty towel to hold your fry food. If they overcook your food or make it Incorrectly they will still send it out and only remake it if there is a complaint. Their high chairs are never clean And the floors in the back I never clean properly with fruit stuck in corners rotting. The smell in the back area is horrible. Several of the older cooks Still alcohol from the job site And Are Intoxicated While working. I have never work for a place with such disregard For food safety...
