BJ's Wholesale Club — Restaurant in Hialeah Gardens

Do not go to this store if you don’t speak Spanish. They claim to be understaffed, yet I always see staff members standing around doing nothing, or having casual conversations with each other. On my last visit ( which will also be my final visit to this location) they had one register open and it had at least four people in line. Problem is, it wasn’t moving. Someone had a problem with the checkout, and e line didn’t move for over 10 minutes (not an exaggeration). I asked one of the women who was just standing around if they could open another register, and she told me to do self checkout. I do not like self checkout as I always have a problem and have to wait for someone to come and scan a badge. As I was explaining this to the woman, she just turned around and walked away while I was in mid sentence. Not the first time I have been scowled at or had someone turn their nose up at me in this store because I spoke English. I have had a much better experience at the store on 57th street and will shop there from now on.

Also, during tax-free weekend, they charged me tax on all the school supplies that were supposed to be exempt. I had to go to customer service to have it refunded. It took so long that I almost left...

The store is very organized but the ladies at the check out were not .. they were laughing they dropped coffee .. then scanned all my products at the door ( mind you I only had 6) I used my cell app to check out.. when I asked why they were scanning everything because they usually scan 3 they answered with a negative aptitud .. they have to remember they are only an employee and I’m a costumer… I done with BJs if they are so scared with people stealing then get an alarm in all your products but don’t attack your costumers like this!!!! I was there 3 months ago. They couldn’t help me update business information and told me that they don’t have an email for their store which is strange in 2020. I kept questioning it and they kept denying it. It seems in this location many of the Customer Service personnel don’t speak English. The second time I waited 10 minutes to have someone help me, they kept seeing me waiting at the service desk and kept speaking Spanish among themselves until one of them approached the Customer Service desk.
