I have always driven by the place by the Palmetto. Every time I do it's always packed, no matter what time of the day. So I decided to give it a shot. We kept it simple. We ordered the fish croquettes which were really good. Creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. My daughter ordered breaded shrimp and fries which were good. My boyfriend and I decided to order a whole hogfish. The biggest one avaliable, to share of course. With whit rice tostones and an extra side of yellow rice. All I can say is that I was really surprised they were able to get such a HUGE fish completely fried to perfection. The fish was soooooo good! The skin was crispy and the meat was tender and flaky. I highly recommend this place for fried fish. We will be back to try more on the menu.

After a fun day at the Patricia and Philip Frost Art Museum, we stopped by Don Camaron Restaurant for a family meal. The churrasco steak and broccoli were definitely the highlight. It was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! We also tried the fresh oysters and the La Minuta fish sandwich with fries, which were good but not as standout as the steak. The kids enjoyed their fried shrimp and fries from the kids’ menu. The kids menu was cute because it contained many activities to draw and keep the kids occupied while we waited for our meal. We opted to sit outside since it was a nice breezy day, and the outdoor dining experience was great. The restaurant was packed, but the ambiance was lively and enjoyable. Overall, a nice spot to wind down after a long day!

We were visiting family and wanted a good seafood spot. This one had plenty of great reviews so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed in the least. It’s like the hangout spot of many as the place was jammed packed. And great music playing and lots of family/friends gatherings. We ordered a few different dishes as we don’t visit Miami too often. So ordered shrimp bisque soup- loved the flavor of it- I dipped the conch fritters in it. Had the minuta sandwich - their bread is so soft , seems fresh out the oven. Hubby had the ceviche and the fish soup. Needless to say, it was all gone. So most definitely the reviews were all correct about this place. Best of all is the economical price for yummy food. Loved their cortadito- I had one to go also.

I live in Broward and wanted to try this place for a while, been a lover of seafood 😋 This place is right off 826, very spacious, service was ok, most of the waitress don't speak English and when I asked if their seafood was wild caught or farmed they had no idea what I was talking about. So I told them to verify with a the Chef or manager which they did and the manager came by our table to confirm that all of their seafood is wild caught. Which was good news but they should train their employees properly. I order the wild caught salmon with cilantro sauce with mash and hubby order ceviche, everything was delicious and fresh! We sat inside and there was lots of flies, not good. Other than that it was a pleasant lunch. We will come back.

Was not greeted by anyone after walking in. We stood there asking servers that were walking around who was going to put our name down, and they would call for somebody else. They were acting like they didn’t want to be there, and didn’t want to have any dealings with customers. After finally seating at the bar, we ordered the fish ceviche and oysters. I must say those were the worst oysters I have ever eaten. They were very small. They give you lime instead of lemon; and the limes were almost dried and out of juice. The fish ceviche wasn’t all that good either. It lacked flavor and that spicy kick that makes ceviche refreshing and good to the palate. They need to definitely work on their customer service skills!

So had a week's work assignment in Miami/Medley and midweek found this great seafood grill and market! Had dinner here 3 nights in a row and it was awesome. Sat at the bar each time and got great service from Andres and Carlos...these bartenders were busy making awesome cocktails nonstop but still offered exceptional services by explaining, recommending and actually serving from the dinner menu on top of their mixology duties. The food was delicious, the drinks are great, the Latin music with live entertainment offered a great vibe plus the beautiful ladies that works here are lovely to watch as they sing and dance while keeping the customers served.. 10/10.
