My Bad Experience at La Valle Restaurant
This review pertains to the owner of La Valle Restaurant . It occurred on Saturday, January 11, 2025. It was my first time at the restaurant as I was celebrating my birthday. I entered the establishment with my cake and my guests ; however , the owner, exhibiting a bad attitude and no ethics whatsoever , said that I could not bring my cake inside . I explained to him that I had spoken to the manager days prior to the party, and she had allowed me to bring it. I also reserved the table several days before the celebration . First, the table was not ready; second, the owner displayed no ethics towards the customer, acting like "Chusma" (a Cuban expression). The manager her name is Anelin was very kind, trying to calm the owner down , but there was no communication between them at all. After that, I observed the owner's attitude towards other customers; he smiled, laughed, approached their tables , and shook their hands, showing them kindness . I have photos and videos that support what I am saying . My conclusion is that I felt discriminated against. She has the sweetest personality—warm, genuine, and incredibly attentive. Her energy is infectious, and she truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience unforgettable.
She made amazing recommendations (which we LOVED), and every single dish was a hit—from the first bite to the last. The food was not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor. You could taste the love in every bite.
But what truly made the experience magical was Kenia. Her attention to detail, her patience, her bright smile—it all made us feel so welcome and cared for. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do and shines so brightly doing it. Kenia, you are the BEST. Thank you for making our night so special! We’ll definitely be back soon, and we’ll be...
Read moreUnfortunately the name is misleading as the food has nothing to do with BBQ. There were no ribs or bbq anything on the menu to order. The menu was basically what you’d find at most Hispanic restaurants. My wife and I ordered the Picada Mar y Tierra which translates to a Surf and Turf sampler platter. The surf on the plate was a few fried shrimp which came from a frozen bag and a couple of really small fish fingers. The turf was breakfast sausage, fried mozzarella, a couple of fried pork chunks, about 6 small corn fritters, fried plantain chips, a few frozen fried onion rings, olives and some cubed cheese. I’m a believer that everyone should try most things at least once. I sadly have to say that I was completely disappointed with the food. The only bright spot was the service which I considered fair. Definitely I will not return nor will I be recommending this...
