It was my 10 year anniversary and my wife was craving a good Rodizio for a while now, instead of going to our usual place up north we decided to make the trip down south which we normally don’t go to and give this place a chance as we had seen a lot of Instagram videos and the reviews seemed to go with it. Upon arrival we were greeted with the host which informed us of a 45 minute minimum wait, I saw part of the place on the left side half empty and inquired about those tables to which she replied they are reserved. My wife decided 45 minute was too much of a wait specially that we were traveling with children we went back to the car to choose which place was close enough with no wait, we decided after five minutes to give it a chance and I went back in, at the door a couple and a family of five cut in front of me, they approached the host to ask for tables and they were all seated within seconds, I inquired upon her return why did she tell me 5 minutes before that the wait was a minimum of 45 minutes and these patrons got seated this quick without even a reservation, another host stepped in and said oh sir sorry we have tables they are just not ready we need to clean and prepare them, we also have a list of people that already came in, I inquired again why she wanted me to wait 45 minutes and what changed in 5 minutes upon my return and she could not really explain herself. We got seated immediately after this. Upon entering and sitting down 3:50pm we were informed by our server that the menu was already dinner and we now had to pay the dinner fee despite being there before 4pm. He brought us the menu and briefly explained how it worked we order some beverages he left. Some of us went ahead to the salad bar, I’ve been in quite a few rodizios and this is the first one with this size salad bar, very limited in items and little to choose. (disappointing). After 20 minutes sitting and waiting for a gaucho ( the servers with the actual rodizio) to visit our table I got up and asked the host to send someone over as we had been waiting for a while now, my wife also asked the server which apologized and got someone over in less then 5 minutes ( still had to wait). The gauchos were busy entertaining a photo shoot the restaurant was having with some influencers in the back, all the servers were parading back and forth to that table as they were filming content, one of them was asked to start serving our table and he came quick to offer us some food and the coordinator or media person I guess came to our table and pulled him saying ( no you need to be here you cannot leave), he served only one of us my wife and the meat was medium to which I asked for well done as my other family members including my wife did not eat meat like this. My request did not sit well with him and he left pretty upset and went back to the photo shoot. Keep in mind I do eat meat medium and I asked him to serve...
Read moreDO NOT come during lunch time!! I just had the worst experience here. My husband and I have been LOYAL customers since they opened. We have come here for special occasions, birthdays, Mother’s Day… you name it. We arrived at 1:30PM, as usual we let the servers know “we want skirt steak and chorizo”. During the wait one server passed by with rare skirt steak which we don’t eat, 20 mins later another server passed by with Medium Well Churrasco and we got some. The next 30 mins NOT ONCE did we get served chorizo or Churrasco!!! Multiple times we asked and in two occasions we told our waiter we had been waiting a very long time. She addressed the delay with the manager. The manager came to our table and instead of giving the customer the reasoning (being LOYAL customers) he just went on and on about the fact they were soooo busy yesterday and RAN OUT of churrasco and couldn’t find any in the kitchen! Which HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US! instead of apologizing he was justifying the poor customer service. I explained we have been here for MANY occasions we know how the service has always been much faster but this was unacceptable. WAITING ONE HOUR FOR FOOD AND BEING SERVED ONE TIME?! He stated, “I’ll give you guys a little discount with the waitress”
As we continue to wait another 15 minutes pass by and yet still NO CHURRASCO… we notice the manager approaching the servers asking them about what we told him. The servers physically were notable they were upset and gave attitude about the fact. The same server passed to our table after the manager told him our complaint and very rudely asked us to move our things so he could sit his plate to grab chorizo.
Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. The servers were giving my husband and I faces which were very clear they were upset to have been called upon. At that point after waiting an hour, we no longer wanted to be there. The service was not a positive one nor the attitude of their server or manager.
We approached the server, letting her know we were very unhappy and still even after waiting another 15 mins had not gotten churrasco and had to leave for appointment. She approached the manager to tell him, she let us go without paying the bill FOR OBVIOUS reasons and yet the manager did not have the customer service interest to apologize to us. He let us walk out without a care.
I don’t know what has happened here after Mother’s Day but this restaurant is not one we will come back to spend our HARD EARNED money at anymore. The manager knowing we were Loyal customers should have treated this situation differently along with the servers.
This is an old saying but if you want a business to do well, “the customer is right”. Regardless if you ran out of meat… you should go above and beyond for your customers and much more for those that are repeat customers.
We are very upset and saddened with...
Read moreLet me start off by saying that I read the bad reviews and still really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, we won’t be going back.
My husband is a big fan of Brazilian steakhouses so we have been to pretty much all, from Fogo De Chao to Texas De Brasil, to Steak Brasil in DT Miami.
Pros: -It’s cheap. $25.99 all you can eat salad bar and rodizio for dinner. You can’t beat that. -Steak was good. Good selection and everything we tried was great. -The men with the steak came by often and fast. They were very kind and their service was great.
Cons: -Unreasonable wine prices. How is it possible that the cheapest bottle of wine here is $63 and the cheapest house glass $15? This is Hialeah, not the Beach. Not even at Fogo de Chao South Beach is the wine that expensive. You can find a solid bottle of wine there for $35-$40. That alone got my husband and I upset. It’s not nice to try to take advantage of people. -Slow Service. We went on Tuesday night and the waitress disappeared during a good portion of our meal. We had to ask the guys with the steak if they could find a waitress for us. Somebody else finally came to help us, and we had to ask multiple times for water for our daughter and for the fried cheese and the cheese breads. Usually that’s the first thing that they bring out at these type of steakhouses. When we finally got the cheese and the bread, we had finished our meal.
All in all, I don’t think we’ll be back unless they make adjustments to their wine list. There are plenty of other good Brazilian steak houses in Miami that have great food, great service and a great selection of wine with...
