My server was Freddy. At first he seemed polite but the minute he took our drink order he came back and threw our straws on the table and didn't even ask if we were ready to order. When he did come back to take our order he sat his bottom on the table parallel to ours and gave us this look as if we took forever to be ready (mind you we were ready to order the same moment he asked what we wanted to drink he just rushed away). We both ordered well-done steaks so you can imagine (especially if you're a steak person) my face when my steak came out and was bright pink inside. I'm not one of those type of people to send food back (fear of it coming back manipulated and not in a good way). My wife however wanted A1 sauce for her steak and asked Freddy for some. She had to shout after him "excuse me do you have A1 sauce?" Because once again he hastily ran away after we received our food. Bites later he still hadn't returned with our A1 sauce. We tried to ask another waiter that walked by but he didn't bring the sauce (which I understand he wasn't our waiter). So I see and hear our waiter at the bar speaking loudly about his hours to the bartender. I go up to and ask for the A1 in a polite voice, he apologizes and finally brings the A1. At this point I lost my appetite, my wife eats her meal. She then asks for a container and Applebees famous triple chocolate melt-down. The waiter gives us our check and a small container, we hadn't even received our cake and were being brought the bill. He kept coming back to check if we had placed our credit card to pay the bill but not once removed our appetizer plate from our small table. I would have appreciated it had he done a task as simple as removing an empty plate so that I could comfortably eat my entree. When the dessert comes out the icecream was already melted and he didn't give us metal silverware, he tossed two plastic spoons down (one accidentally hit the chocolate so when I went to remove my spoon from the wrapper there was chocolate all over it and my hands). My wife ate the cake and icecream and I can hear our waiter Freddy loudly complaining to another waiter about another customer not paying a service fee and how he was going to have a conversation with his manager. Due to all of this I will not be returning to this Applebees location. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with the service provided. I also witnessed two other dissatisfied couples, one who even the manager came out and apologized too. The other couple said this it wasn't there first time having an issue at...
Read moreMy experience was horrible. To begin with we walk in and there was no wait like 6 waiters just standing around doing nothing. We let them know how many in our group and they begin to talk amongst themselves. It took them about 5 minutes with menus in hand to even let us know it would take about 5 minutes for us to get a table. All of a sudden my husband looks around and notices there are a bunch of empty booths, so when he mentions it to them one of the girls in the front says that they aren't allowed to double book a waiter. I have never heard that excuse in my life, everytime I go to a restaurant our waiters are usually serving 4 to 5 tables at a time. Anyways when she gave us that excuse she noticed we got upset and she quickly went to sit us in a dirty table which she asked someone else to pick up the plates and didn't even wipe it down. When we sit down and get settled she says laughing oh sorry I'm going to have to move you to another booth. That's where we drew the line and walked out the door. It's not our 1st issue here, about 3 weeks ago we brought my mother in law to dinner here and the service was horrible as well. Our server seemed lost took forever to bring out our drinks and appetizers and once our food came out we had ordered the pasta and it basically came with no sauce what so ever, we let the server know and it took them about another 15 minutes to get us some sauce to put on our pasta. I honestly think the majority of the servers there aren't even interested in working all they do is stand around and chit chat with each other and when you actually need something from them they are nowhere to be found. We gave them this 2nd chance thinking the last time might have been a bad day but today was even worse. I will not come here again, I rather take a drive up to broward or anywhere else...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I waited 15 minutes for a server to ask if we had been taken care of. We proceeded to order Spinach Dip, and Wonton Tacos. The spinach Dip felt like it had either been reheated, or came straight from the microwave, and the chips where stale, and undercooked. My boyfriend ordered the Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken. The chicken was fine, even though a small hair was found, although it may have been our own. The rice was extremely stale, and undercooked. I ordered the Chicken and Cheese Capiatta, which had NO sauce at all. I asked the waiter if this was supposed to come with no sauce. He replied "very little sauce." I replied "so none at all", in which he replied with "yeah, pretty much." I asked for some sauce, to be able to tolerate eating the food with, in which we later found out via check, we were being charged extra for. We also ordered Mozarella Sticks, which were extremely undercooked - the cheese was cold, and as hard as if we were eating stringed cheese. To further prove the terrible quality of the Mozarella Sticks, another waiter commented to the table next to us, to be careful with the small child eating it, because the hardened cheese could get stuck in the throat. Hearing that come from a servers' mouth, is unacceptable that he'd have to warm consumers of harm, because of how the food is cooked. This has definitely been the worst dining experience we've ever had. No manager was anywhere to be seen, nor did we bother calling one over, because we just wanted to leave as fast as possible. We have lost our faith in this establishment, and will more than likely be taking our business, elsewhere. We will also warn our friends, families, and colleagues from...
