I have always associated Sano with quality, but this location has redefined the name for me as a disgusting disappointment.

During my visit, I discovered two long brunette hairs in my chicken Alfredo. When this was brought to the server’s attention, she initially offered to remove only the cake from the bill. We had to insist that the entrée be taken off, which required her to check with a manager—who never came to the table to address the situation.

The rest of the food was equally disheartening. My Alfredo sauce was watery with an odd vinegar tang, and the chicken was dry and overcooked. My guest managed to eat part of her entrée, but her peanut smoothie was so unappealing she only had a few sips—it tasted like nothing more than cheap peanuts. Even the pistachio cake tasted overwhelmingly of monk fruit sweetener rather than pistachio itself, as though corners were cut on quality ingredients and masked with excessive sweetener. In the end, we still left paying $57 for a meal that went mostly untouched.

The only positive was our server’s attentiveness to my food allergies. She was careful, thorough, and genuinely seemed to care about preventing cross-contamination, which is not something I take lightly. But that reassurance meant little once I was pulling hairs out of my meal.

What makes this most frustrating is not just the food itself, but the way the situation was handled. For a restaurant I once trusted, this visit left me questioning whether standards have slipped so far that Sano is willing to trade its reputation for shortcuts. An experience this unsanitary and disappointing deserves more than a quiet dismissal from management—it requires accountability that shows customers their trust...

This place opened up about 3-4 months ago. I’m not really sure how to start. I love healthy food. I was really excited this place opened since Hialeah is a very Spanish area and it is hard to come by places who cater to healthy lifestyles. The place is very nicely decorated. It is very clean. The owners obviously intend for you to come to their garden decorated walls so you can take some pictures for Instagram. The food is way way overpriced . I paid about 40 dollars for a ceviche and a pizza. The cashiers waiters do not speak English and they will be incredibly rude about it. Also they r not very familiar with the type of food they are selling promoting. They have no clue about the ingredients of their products and ultimately seem really lost trying to explain their overall food/ business concept. I asked them for a matcha tea and they looked at me like I was crazy. The products are way overpriced. A bag of chips costs about 7-9 dollars. On top of that they took 25 min to prepare a to go order when the restaurant was empty. Overall the food was ok. It was not bad but definitely not worth the price. The overall costumer service was really bad and the cashier demanded a tip. I did not give one because I had my food to go and I Did not feel that I was treated with respect. The overall experience was very disappointing and unsatisfying. However, I have not tried all of the products and I do not intend to pay and go through the hassle of coming back here again. However, the plus side to it is that perhaps this is the only healthy restaurant in the immediate area. Do not recommend...

Expensive price for mediocre food, bad service, server with bad attitude. Ordered a strawberry and banana smoothie which i tried one sip of and it tasted like water, no flavor. politely asked if i could send that one back and get another instead so i ordered the mango which was better. Also ordered a tuna wrap along with other things the tuna wrap was very dry even with the sauce on the side which had bad taste as well. Only took 2 bites of the wrap told the waitress i did not like it and did not want it anymore, so she took it back. Did not ask if there was anything wrong with it or if there was anything she can do to make it better. At the end i ended up paying around $90 for things i didn’t even eat and when asked politely why i had to pay for them if i barely even touched the food and sent it back, I was met with a bad attitude from waitress and a snappy response. Payed and was leaving and what seems like the manager was outside with friends instead of inside with customers to prevent this situation, asked how the experience was i told him about the experience and he kept just asking for my name and phone number when i just wanted to leave, and for no reason might i add because the situation was never corrected although he stated that it was not right the way she treated us, he never contacted us nor was the situation fixed was just a waste of time and gave out my information...

I came in to explore the gluten free options. I was immediately frustrated when 2 employees informed me that corn arepas, made from P.A.N Corn flour, is NOT gluten free. They kept insisting I get their plantain arepas , which is not what I wanted. P.A.N is indeed gluten free. Arepas are one of the few things that are always safe to eat since it is made from corn, not wheat. As someone with a gluten intolerance it is already hard enough to find options. To be told by the employees arepas were not gluten free baffled me. They also said their cauliflower pizzas are not gluten free.... How is that possible? Then they explained to me because "it has cheese"... Didn't get to try the food. Please make sure your employees understand what "gluten free" means. Extremely frustrating experience

My 2nd time at Sano Food and my first time at this location, and I'm always blown away by what they're doing here. Whole wheat tequeños?!?! a DREAM. I also highly recommend the whole wheat chicken empanada. I also had a frozen caramel coffee which was beyond delicious, tasted better than a caramel frappuccino at Starbucks and had no sugar! Only Truvia <3 Our server Lorena told us she came up with the coffee recipe herself, and btw she gave us the best service while running the whole store front by herself. It's impossible to find restaurants which have clean, delicious and affordable food like Sano. Oh and the interior decor is very nice.
