Brian, is it standard practice for your establishment to throw away a person's purse/bag in an OUTSIDE trash can immediately when the customer leaves it? But returns in less than 10 minutes and then they are lied to about where they put the purse/bag. The contents of this bag contained items valued around $2000 including cash, two phones, headphones and other irreplaceable personable items. I had to cancel credit/debit cards. We were in your establishment last weekend also. We have never been treated like we were treated last night. We brought two friends we met at the race in downtown Hickory. The bag belonged to me. I caused no problems. We promptly left when we were no longer going to be served. Leaving so promptly we also left a bike we won at an auction on the square. Only after we returned to retrieve our items were we told by customers outside that the bag was in the trash can and the bike was just set on the street. The bike could have been stolen. This event upset all of us and there was a commotion. We were threatened by a customer outside with a knife. We had every right to be upset when our belongings were trashed. The bag contained our livelyhood. You run a bar that people get intoxicated at and might not have all their barings when they leave. Your employees don't watch after their customers? I feel like its a moral responsibility to at least keep the items until closing. A person isn't going to get far without their wallet and/or phone. That wouldn't be a place a customer would return to after being treated like that. I hope as a business owner you do not commend...
Read moreNormally love this place to eat because of all the vegan options Tonight we decided to go later than we usually do they had a sign at the door saying it must order at bar but the whole restaurant online it said it's open to 2:00 a.m. up of the bar is extremely crowded and loud I don't do well with crowds or noise so this is why we've always chosen this place it's normally not loud The waiter came to us within 5 minutes with some menus and said they're doing all service other bar and I confirm that the whole restaurant was open to 2:00 a.m. he said yes but we're not taking any orders unless they're done at the bar and if we get extremely busy I can't promise to you that we can tend to you so I clarified so if I want service I have to go up to the extremely loud and crowded bar to get something he said yes so therefore I chose to leave I should not be forced to have to walk up to the bar where is extremely loud and crowded in order to order food when the whole entire restaurant is open there are three people working a cook and two two bartenders / waiters I will make a mental note not to come back especially on a Friday evening we usually go during the week around mid-afternoon early evening we have learned that any other time is loud and we cannot...
Read moreA friend and I ate here for the first time and enjoyed it very much. The outside is deceptive to how cute and comfortable you will find the interior. Clean facility with nice tables, and comfy chairs throughout. The restaurant is difficult to spot if you have not been there before. The large "for lease" banner hanging above the restaurant on the outside gives the impression the restaurant is closed, which does not help. The friend I was meeting said that even though her GPS kept saying the restaurant was on her left, she could not figure out where it was. The food was delicious. I got the special of the day; a turkey mushroom melt and it was tasty! Their potato salad was scrumptious! They have a huge selection of fun craft beers. I was also very impressed with how reasonable their prices were. It is difficult to find a sit-down meal for under $10. You will not have a problem with that at Crescent Moon. Beer prices were reasonable as well. What a refreshing change from the high prices at most quality restaurants. Definitely five-stars when the food, price and service were all great! Thank you, I...
