I order the Brisket plate 😮‍💨

Brisket all 4 "small" pieces were dry, so disappointed. ONG......how bad? Look below I added pics.

The Brisket reminds me of when I take a trip 8hrs type, and stop at a run down gas station and get some "mid" food.

Not even food i really want but just to tie me over till I get the food I really want at my destination. Dried up food, sub-par food, 1/2 bites of food then throw it away at the "next gas station" cause you know you gonna need gas again 🤣.

Brisket........1 out of 10 I ordered Mac/Cheese 😮‍💨

Again disappointed.

Dry, no seasoning, no salt, no pepper, no love, no care........straight cheese and pasta noodles.

How Dry you ask? Look at the pic provided 🫣

MAC/CHEESE.....1 out 10 Fries??????? Over salted🧂 🧂 🧂

2 out of 10 Cornbread?????? Now that was good 👍.

6 out of 10 Jim and Nick please tell me this isn't the best you have to offer, because y'all being here in just 1 week in Hickory, NC this is bad.

Some will say "Oh this is the best ever" to that I say "okay".

But I'm coming from Memphis, Tenn and Texas the birth places of true BBQ. Where every year championship BBQ contest are held in Memphis in the month of MAY.

Idk, 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 maybe my expectations are set too high. 🤣

Will I visit again? Yes.....in the distant distant distant future. And try on a different day and different time. And to be a fair "REVIEWER".

Food is pretty good. You MUST check your order if you are doing online ordering when checking out as you will very likely be missing something. No big deal and they will make it right but please check order. If ordering online, the time they give you to pick up is not at all accurate, so be prepared for that. Whenever I order online I have come to learn that I will be waiting for 15-30 minutes after pick up time in the email, minimum. The drive thru is abysmally slow and if you get your food before the person in front of you, you can get stuck there with your food getting cold while the person in front of you is still waiting for their order. The little biscuits are amazing. The website is glitchy - example: Today it says they no longer offer chicken tenders. I call the store and they said they do still offer them. I asked if I could order with her since the website won't let me order them and was told no, I would have to come into the store to place the order and then wait. Don't have time for that so ended up going to another spot in town. The food is good (at bit overpriced - 4 tenders and fries is 20 bucks), the service is trying to be good but not quite there, the website is glitchy and inconsistent, the drive thru is abysmal, the pick up time and subsequent wait time is atrocious (I assume they are working on it) and customer service when calling in isn't great. Definitely check it out for the food but you may want to wait awhile for good/fast/helpful service until they get their...

Cannot rate the food.Because i'm still waiting on it... But the ordering process is what made me seek out to review it. I ordered and then got up to the door... As I got up to the door I noticed a car pulling in that was unloading something in front of me... It does not appear to be a loading, do... But he was trying to carry a rather large bag of what looks like onions into the doors at the drive through. I was rather rudely told that I was in the walkway. Where else was I supposed to be? This was the drive through line.... I have never seen a restaurant try to bring deliveries in through the drive through line.

It annoyed me that she tried to say.I had done something wrong by being in the walkway... When I was simply coming through, the drive through. I was given a total when I placed my order, which was not what the total was that they charged my card for. When I asked her about that, she said, sometimes they give the wrong total before taxes. Still have not seen a receipt, and i've been doing this review this whole time...They can rest assured, I will not be back.... So there will be no concern of me ever being in their walk through area again in the drive through.

Again, let's hope the food is good, but I have no clue.... I ordered chicken quarters, mac and cheese, and corn. I would have thought that it would have been prepared and just be putting on a plate for the most part... But i've been here about 10...
