I always had issues with this Mcdonald's years ago when I lived up here. I ended up driving out of my way to another Mcdonald's to get my fry fix. I've attempted twice to come to this Mcdonald's since I've been back in the area. First time I went inside, there were only two others waiting for food. Not one person greeted me, even when I said hello. The two workers in the front were chit chatting, holding empty bags waiting for the food to come out. I said hello again, and one girl rolled her eyes at me. I waited about 10 minutes before deciding to go across the street to the Subway because I was on a lunch break for work with limited time. Left that alone because.. well stuff happens, mistakes are made, people get distracted etc. Couple weeks later, I try a second time. This time I went through the drive through. I waited almost 10 minutes before anyone said anything through the speaker. When someone finally spoke they had a huge attitude right off the bat and sounding annoyed said "Uh, yeah? You can order now." I started to order... The worker was talking to someone else in the background the whole time, about personal things and didn't hear a word I said and asked me to repeat the order. I started to do so, and while I was saying what kind of drink for the meal, they interrupted saying "So, what kind of drink do you want then?!" also.. with an attitude. I had asked for no pickles and they didn't take it off at the screen. She didn't repeat the order to me or ask if i was done ordering. Mumbled the amount to me and cut off the mic. I asked if she took the pickles off the sandwich. And she came back annoyed "uh.. no." So, I repeated it and she sighs and says ok she will do it when i come around. By that point I had enough of the attitude and said nevermind, just cancel the order. I ended up going to the Jack in the Box down the road. Less hassle, less attitude. Well worth driving up the road an extra intersection or two. You guys might want to work on the customer service skills here. I realize it's just fast food. But no one is going to want to come back with people who are rude and nasty right off the bat. No one is forcing them to work them. They shouldn't treat customers as inconveniences who are interrupting their social conversations. I rarely have "bad" experiences at places, especially enough to write a review on it. Twice in the past year.. and I travel ALOT for work, so I'm constantly eating out, staying in hotels etc. I deal with customers all the time. It's one thing when you have a nightmare of a customers. But there's no excuse to be nasty to someone who has JUST walked up to a counter or pulled up to...
Read moreI ordered 3 plain quarter pounders with cheese, a plain crispy chicken sandwich, and a McDouble with no onions. After waiting for at least 20 minutes, and seeing one or two people try to get service at the counter, be ignored, and eventually just leave, I was finally given my order. I make a practice of testing my food before leaving, and did so this time. I checked one of the quarter pounders, and at first glance, it appeared to have nothing wrong with it, so I began the 20 minute drive home. When I arrived, I gave the food to my family, and we began eating. Soon, there was a cry of outrage... If I were to be generous, I would call two of the quarter pounders medium-rare, with the other pink as well. Then, we discovered that the McDouble was wrong as well. It was burnt, cold, and had nothing but cheese on it. (Recall that this one should have had everything except for unions) After examination of the grill slip, this burger was made for a completely different order! We were furious! Afterwards, we spent a good half hour trying to get in contact with this location, and the number provided on their website keeps saying "Line busy." I am horrified by the quality standard shown by this location, and would like to say two further things addressing this McDonalds restaurant. First of all, I will NEVER be eating at this location ever again. They have caused my family issues before, and I've just let it go. This time, I am putting the foot down. Second of all, I demand that this be made right. You have now wasted almost 2 hours of my time between trying to contact you, and having to write this review, not to mention the appalling wait to even get this half cooked monstrosity of yours. I am sick and tired of large companies playing the common population for fools, and assuming that we will never do anything about these all to common injustices.
UPDATE: After two weeks, I was finally reached out to by the Link Family McDonald's customer support manager. They sent me some coupons, and apologized for this happening. I will be happy to use that family's other locations, but I will not eat at this McDonalds for the...
Read moreCame here on my birthday today cause I was in the mood for a frappe with Oreos & caramel drizzle which we get quite often from here & normally they’re pretty good. But tonight it was awful. Sent the fries back & asked for fresh ones, they got an attitude when we done that “it’ll be a few minutes, just pull to the next window” wasn’t even 1 minute & we got handed another fry , barely warm. Sent it back again the lady didn’t even let us finish our sentence & said sure & walked off. Pretty sure they gave us the same fries back a 3rd time. Can’t even eat them because they’re cold. Asked for them fresh on 2 separate occasions still was not fresh. Finally after 5-6 mins go by we got our frappes & she said that she tried her best & wanted to get them perfect but one of them wasn’t even full. I was gonna ask for a refund on all my stuff but she ran away from the window before we could say anything & the line was too long to go back through. I am a general manager at a fast food restaurant & if I had employees that did this to customers & had attitudes when politely asked to fix something they would not work there. Like I said we come here multiple times a week for frappes & it just had to be on my birthday that we had this horrible experience. Highly...
