The food is getting only one star, and that is for the dumplings that was the only good part of the meal besides the soda we drank. The sauce for my entree was thick and goopy, and the dish had no flavor. Had to drowned it in soy sauce. We had to tell the waiter to bring us utensils and napkins on separate occasions after bringing our food. My son had finished his drink, the waiter asked if we needed anything, my son showed him his empty glass and he looked at us like "what?" Had to literally tell him to get more. My son had sushi and here are his thoughts on it:
Son here. First, I want to start off by saying that we've eaten from here over the years(back when they still had duck entrees on the menu) and have noticed a dropoff in quality since then. My actual meal this time was the last straw, though. I had gotten akagai(red clam) nigiri, a dragon roll, and a rainbow roll. Something was immediately off when I saw how dry the akagai was. Not a good sign about how they treat their ingredients. The rainbow roll was advertised as having SEVEN slices of fish; it had three slices of fish and two slices of old, brown avocado in place of fish. The dragon roll was supposed to be topped entirely with eel but was only partly covered with eel and partly covered with(once again) old, brown avocado. The shrimp tempura was way over cooked and over breaded. Mom back now: To end the bad meal with an even worse taste left in our mouths, the manager/ owner which ever he is stopped and asked us how our meal was. I told him my side, my son told him his. He didn't apologize, didn't act like he cared one iota. When we went to pay he noticed that the waiter didn't charge for our two sodas after he had already ran my card for the meal. He proceeded to run my card again for the two drinks without telling what he was doing. I said seriously?! We tell you of the bad service, subpar food and then you run my card a second time without my knowledge to get your four damn dollars for the soda?! Forget about the fish I paid for that wasn't on the sushi! We've agreed that we won't be eating from this Wild Wok ever...
Read moreOrdered take out on Christmas night. I fully expected a wait, I was just happy to find a place that was open. That happiness wouldn't last. After being told that my order would be ready in 15 minutes, my Son and I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. I was surrounded by other guests who had been waiting even longer. At one point, several of us requested refunds, only to be denied, and being told "it's ready now" when it wasn't. We were figuratively being held hostage by a terrible manager who had long ago lost control of the situation. After 2 hours, I finally got my food. Drove the 5 minutes home, sat down to eat, and....I couldn't. Absolutely everything that I ordered was disgusting. The chicken somehow had the texture of bologna. The entrees were cold, the sushi was hot. Overcooked Lo Mein. I headed back immediately, and I knew that I was going to have a fight on my hands, because I had already seen how the Manager was handling customer complaints, and it wasn't pretty. Like the people before me, I was basically told "too bad. You take it home and eat it. No refund." After some polite insistence, I was given back a partial refund, but not the correct amount. My kid was so hungry that he ate the warm sushi, and I only wanted a refund for what I returned. He still refused to properly refund my money, but by that time I had wasted 3 hours of my time on this ordeal. This was my first and last visit to Wild Wok 127. Terrible food and even...
Read moreFood may be decent however if the customer service from the owner of the restaurant is incompetent I throw the whole restaurant away. I had a very sad experience tonight with the man at the front desk due to his rushing and his attitude and smart laughing comments and the owner refused to provide me with the number to the corporate office to file a formal complaint he decided he wanted to do what he wanted to do and just "talk" to the employee. I did not feel that was good enough seeing as though the employee thought the matter was funny as I explained it to the owner and he also whispered something to the owner in their language and still the owner refused to provide me with the number and then asked if I wanted him to call the police??? I said, "For what, asking for a number?" So I see exactly why people blast companies and record them but, I felt like doing it tonight. I feel like my rights were completely violated however, RIGHT IS RIGHT AND WRONG IS WRONG so to owner, I will locate the phone number to Wild Wok Corporate no problem however, to the man to the front desk that thought the issue was SOOOOO funny 🤣, let's see who has the final giggles. And to think, I was actually thinking about changing locations due to all of the specialty items..... 😂 You have to watch who you violate. Be...
