This was BY FAR MY WORST EXPERIENCE in a customer service related environment I have ever dealt with. The manager - Kristen Abernathy - was the most incompetent manager I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I ordered a Wings n Things tray with BBQ wings and ranch. It was repeated to me at the drive through box. I pull forward and it was repeated to me again at the window... MY CORRECT ORDER. so I pay and go on my way. It wasn't until I get home 15 mins later I find out my food was wrong. My fiancé calls and tells the manager about the problem and she tells us to come back and she will fix it. I drive all the way back there and when I get there and talk to her she wants a receipt to prove they got it wrong. I was like look. We wanted the wings n things. And it's just wings. Fix it. But she fought back saying. Well this is what my order is showing. So my people did it right. They said it right to you twice and you confirmed it. So after digging in my car I find the receipt and sure enough they had it wrong on there as well. So I take the receipt in. And she's arguing that it wasn't wrong on the receipt that that's what I ordered. After finally getting her to agree to give me the right food she asks that I pay the $3.21 difference in the meals for their mess up. Fed up with her I put my money down and walk out with my food. I have been a District Customer Service Manager for over 5 years now, and if I ever find out my staff in any location is treating customers this way I would clean the house and rehire an entirely new crew. They are unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and above all. Not there for the customers as they should be. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF VISITING THIS LOCATION DONT! Read morePlaced a mobile order on the app for a pick up on 1/11 and drove to the restaurant to pick up. When I arrived I noticed that the building was closed, lights off and doors locked, no signage on any door. We had some winter weather in the area, so that’s understandable, even though the app said they were open. I contacted support asking for a refund since the restaurant wasn’t open and I wasn’t able to receive my order. I was told the refund was being processed and the rep said he also put a $5 coupon on my account for the inconvenience, which I wasn’t expecting but appreciated. I didn’t receive either. Since January 11th I have called the restaurants direct line multiple times and no one ever answers. I have contacted support 3 more additional times. One call I was told that my refund was processed, and once again never received. The last two calls I have been told that they cannot process a refund due to the location being a franchise, but management of this location would reach out to me via phone or email to resolve. It has now been over a month and I have not been contacted and still have not received my refund for an order I never received. The lack of urgency and communication on top of incorrect information given by the customer service team and this locations management has been absolutely ridiculous. Read moreI went to the zaxby’s in Hickory, NC on LR blvd tonight and ordered a wingz and things meal and paid for extra zax sauce. The lady in the drive through at the register had to ask how to add the zax so I know for sure it was added despite me having my receipt. I get home (20 mins from restaurant) and open my box to see that it is only wings and no zax sauce. I call to let them know my order was not right and I was hung up on without the person even asking what happened. I called back to give the benefit of the doubt and then she hung up on me again. My fiancé then calls and she does that to him as well but he used his manly voice and someone else gets on the phone. He asked her name and position and she said Traneia (manager). My fiancé proceeded to tell her what happened and that he did not appreciate the other associate hanging up the phone on us. She apologized on the other employees behalf and asked us to back and we would have the order remade.
