Arrived at the restaurant last night to see it at about 15-20% capacity but the hostess explained there would be a wait as the kitchen staff were running behind. I just arrived from from a 6+ hour drive from Georgia and we were excited to have dinner. As we waited to be seated, we were rather surprised to hear a server approach the hostess stand and drop the f-bomb. As a business owner myself, that’s always disappointing in the front of a business establishment regardless of what the business is. When taken to our table to be seated, the hostess noticed the table was still dirty and was kind enough to ask us to please wait a moment for her to retrieve the necessary items in order for her to clean the table before we sat down. Our server started off great and made suggestions for our order as I’m vegan but he is not. As we waited for our salads, we heard something break in the kitchen and a male voice yell “God D@€N” followed by lots of playing. The tables around us were dirty and what we gathered were there was possibly a staff shortage and/or no management on duty. A good manager or leader should be able to redirect people who are standing around playing to help clear tables or run food. That’s part of training and then you have to have someone in that position who cares and it was clear that nobody in the restaurant last night cared. We did enjoy our salads but I definitely won’t be returning nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone in the area or visiting. It’s a disgrace to the Longhorn name. Too much talking and playing without any guidance or leadership for 7:30 at night.

After reading over some recent reviews of this place, I'm honestly baffled by the experience that we had at this location yesterday, because it wasn't a good one at all. From the minute we stepped inside, the first impression was concerning. I'll be honest: this place smells. The carpet was very dirty, and there was an odor that pervaded the entire restaurant to the degree that if there were scents of food, they were drowned out by what I'm guessing was the smell of old, dirty carpet. Our meal left a lot to be desired. The bread was dry. The spinach artichoke dip - the one thing we really enjoyed - would have been a home run if the pita chips that came with it hadn't been cooked to death. They were dried out and crunchy and clearly overcooked. Our entrees were simply not good. I got the chop steak, which was bland and kind of greasy: if not for the mushrooms on top, there wouldn't have been much flavor to it at all. The loaded potato was decent, but it's realistically hard to mess those up no matter where you are. My husband's steak was basically a hunk of unseasoned meat that was dense, dry, and has this weird after taste that wasn't a pleasant one. I will say that our server was very nice, but overall, I would sooner go to Outback (and the High Point Outback is an abomination). If part of our meal hadn't been paid for with a gift card, I would be pretty frustrated about this experience. Maybe, based on other reviews, it was just a bad day. But it was definitely bad.

Every time I come to this location I'm impressed with the food and the service. Not sure why I don't come here more often. Found a gift card in a drawer and called. Still had money on it. Late Sunday in High Point and options are limited. Remembered said discovered gift and suggested here. Got there around 9 pm. They close at 10. Sat at bar. Watched football. I went with LH burger....my relative's went with chicken bites and wild West shrimp. My burger was really good. Cooked to a perfect med rare as requested. Comes with choice of three cheeses and bacon! My only complaint was that my fries were atad cold. My burger was so good I did not care! My relatives loved their appetizers. They have everyday drink specials. I had the Texas margarita and my relatives had the Jack & Coke. Katie ran the bar and provided us with exemplary service. Amazing how a great server improves the dining experience.

Location has lost its touch! The hostess sat us down at 6:03pm, we addressed one of the hostess at 6:22 that we had not been acknowledged yet. There were empty tables so it didn’t seem busy to us. While speaking to that hostess (young w/ blonde hair) another hostess with double French braids told the waitress she needed to tend to us. Our waitress (with blue tint in her hair) immediately tended to us. Though, I’m still not sure why the girl with French braids took it upon herself (when no one was even talking to her). For her to have that kind of initiative perhaps her efforts could have been more effective in assisting us until the waitress could get to us herself (as in being a team player) . Our waitress was very nice and apologetic as she genuinely appeared to have no clue we were her table. She took our drink & food order and brought out bread with the drinks then salads followed soon after. A young man brought out our food when we asked for condiments he never returned and apparently didn’t inform our waitress. We found it strange the one table we were sat at to be in our waitress’ area because she was on the other side of the wall tending to that section. Now our waitress did ask us for Togo boxes and/or refills and 2 of us declined as one of us from the 3top were already speaking to the “on duty manager” we were under the impression that’s what she went up there to do (so that’s on us) we did have to ask another brunette girl for boxes and the check. She brought out one check and THEN asked if it was all together- and it was not. She split the checks - we paid. We all left cash tips but she seemed so eager to take the books to the waitress. I stood off to the side and told her we wanted to make sure the waitress was handed the tips. Our waitress came over immediately I handed her the checkbooks and told her we wanted to make sure she got the cash, she said thank you. There was so much unnecessary foot traffic from the double french braid girl & the one we flagged down for Togo boxes & check - both seemed knowledgeable enough but were fruitless in their actions. The one girl even said “if we come back and we see her just walking around- let her know if we need something” Girl, your customer service skills are bleak and desolate. In audience, it seemed as if the two brunettes were in someway more focused on sabotaging the...

I don’t know where to start. Me & my family visited the Longhorn in High Point on Easter Sunday. We received the worst service I have experienced in a long time. Longhorn is one of our favorite restaurants and we have never had a bad experience. We were seated around 6p ish and it was not busy. The bad service started with us sitting there for 20 mins and no drinks. Then we We’re served bread that was as hard as a brick and the replacement was no better. Didn’t receive mixed drink till after we reminded waitress (40 min later. While still waiting on food for 40 min drinks was empty and had to ask for refill. Not sure why waitress didn’t refill kids drinks when the adult drinks were being refilled but had to ask her to refill the kids drinks. Salads came dry with little to no dressing When food finally came 45 mins later I had to ask the waitress to remove the dirty plates. My tbone was burnt (ordered well done). When packing items to go I realized I didn’t get my broccoli..I mentioned to waitress and she bought me some but it was cold. Last, I had ordered wings to go for husband. Wings were plain and sauce was in a cup to go. I paid $178 for terrible food and service. I was a little hesitant eating with a sanitation grade of 93 and the place was dark and dingy. I should have save my family and self gas Time and money by just staying home to cook my own Easter dinner. THE EMAIL THEY TELL YOU TO SEND THEM is fake and nonexistent

Guess I”ll reach out to Mr. Darden...
