Monkey Bar HPV — Restaurant in Highland Park

Horrible night. I asked the bartender if he could make me a cosmopolitan drink and he responded, “we don’t do cosmopolitan here.” I was shocked to hear that and confused because it’s such a basic drink. I asked him what ingredients he didn’t have for it, (it’s just vodka, lime juice, cranberry, and simple) he didn’t answer me and just shoved a menu in my face. I asked again what ingredients he didn’t have because I knew they had all of them, and ignored me again and shoved the menu back in my face. He was so rude and condescending when all I was asking was a question, I pushed the menu back and told him I didn’t need to look at the menu because I knew what I wanted. He runs and tells his manager on me and they advise me they won’t be serving me or my friends that night. Because he didn’t know how to make a cosmopolitan. The whole atmosphere was great including views and weather. I had a girls date with my cousin. Waiter was very attentive and was always checking on us. I loved visiting Monkey Bar! I visited with my friend before a Mavericks game, planning on visiting Mi Cocina. The wait was horrendous, so we went upstairs to Monkey Bar!
