Kosmik Fusion Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Highland Village

Used to be Teaholic but menus changed into a short elevated mediocre version of just viet food. I'd imagine it all seems more focused to gluten free than quality. Spent around $90 for four, I ordered: cha gio (eggroll trio, from Teaholic price it went up $2), gem lettuce (okay salad for $11), banh xeo (small crepe taco style of banh mis which the wrap tears easily..this was weird and not good for $13), pork fried rice (the only fried rice, $15), and the worst of all was the "main dish" pho ga (chicken pho $18, it was just no broth..hot water, bland chicken, brand rice noodles). First week for soft changed opening and I truly believe the menu needs to be improved asap so I truly cannot recommend coming here to order food if the kitchen staff are not tasting what they make before the food is sent out (and that night was not even packed no dinner rush). IMO the interior change looks cozy with the new booths and it has a bar, yet it's still a standard small cafe sized place which isn't innovative. (If the owner reads this) When the dish menu is just one small page but the server and the customer are having trouble with communicating viet food pronunciation..you might as well just add numbers next to the menu item and it'll still look like a professional streamlined menu. Teaholics menu was fine because it was fully translated to english..I don't get why these menus just add the viet phonetics next to english and almost make it confusing. Kosmik took over the old Tea Holic spot. The old name might have made people think it was just a tea shop, but Kosmik is much more than that — though they still serve the same popular milk teas everyone loved. I really enjoyed their Shaken Beef and Rib Eye both dishes are absolutely delicious! The rib eye is super tender and juicy, and the shaken beef is full of flavor. You should also try the Bun cha! The meat is soft and juicy, not dry like at other Asian restaurants I’ve been to. They also upgraded the furniture and added a beautiful bar.
