Mattress Firm Highlands Ranch — Hotel in Flower Mound

There are two main reasons for my negative review. I made two visits over Memorial Day weekend. I was hoping to get everything by Tuesday as I had friends staying over and wanted to offer more than just couches. I was told on Sunday that I could have next day delivery and that I could do the same thing if I wanted to take a day and think about which mattress I wanted. That worked for me. I had specifically asked "if I come back Monday and place the order we can do Tuesday?" and was told that yes, I could. It was not until I was in the process of ordering everything that I was told I can't have it delivered the next day or even the day after. The earliest I could get it was Thursday. That defeated the whole purpose of getting it when I did. I still made the order (frustrated as I was) because I eventually will need another bed anyway, but I would rather think about that large of an investment more now that I have no immediate need.

When I called back and canceled my order I was unsure if I needed to do anything further when I was speaking to the person at the store. I said I wanted to cancel. He said they would take care of it for me, and when I asked if I needed to do anything else he was already in the process of hanging up on me so I do not know yet if my order is even canceled.

I wouldn't have minded if they had told me "you MIGHT be able to get it delivered the next day, but I can't promise it" because then I would have stayed the first day as long as I needed to to make my decision. Not being able to make good on your word is really frustrating. Combine that with me not even knowing if the order is actually canceled and I feel let down by the experience. Considering I paid in full the day I placed the order and not knowing for sure that it's being taken care of is unsettling. I will be checking daily to make sure that the refund is processed and the order is canceled, and I shouldn't have to be doing that. I should have the peace of mind to know that it's being done.

The staff was friendly and patient with me in person on both days, and I appreciate that, but it's not reason enough for me to keep my order. I do not want my order, and I hope they canceled it like they said they would. Thank you for the time, and thank you for reading, but I will be getting my next mattress...

First, want to say big thanks to Mark G. I needed a new bed desperately as I was having physical pain issues, cramping, neck/back pain with my current bed (not buying that brand again).

Mark suggested me to a bed, not the one I initially thought about (though tried), called the Purple Bed. I nearly fell asleep on it (I usually lay on a bed for about 5 min or so) and I tried a weighted blanket. I was sold but was worried about the cost, the frame, the awesome adjustable frame. Mark helped me out by taking the time to ask questions to clarify my needs.

So, I walked out (shipped lol) with a new Purple Bed (#3 I think), and adjustable frame (not the super fancy one but it met my needs exactly), and (2) new LuxLiving Softcell Chill pillows and an awesome (and much needed weighted blanket).

I have PTSD after some incidents during my time in the Marine Corps. I have issues with sleeping and anxiety. This combo of bed, adjustable frame and blanket has improved my sleep by nearly 100%. It does not cure the PTSD but it has made it extremely bearable, enough I have started winging myself off sleep meds.
