My boyfriend and I stopped here to get a quick coffee this morning. He got a cappuccino, which we noticed was about 3/4 foam in a 12 oz cup. My iced latte with “little almond milk” tasted like only almond milk. We chose to sit outside and attempt to enjoy our coffees, a few of the employees came out and began waving their “espresso” and American flags while shouting very disrespectful comments at the cars driving by, such as “do something with your life and come get coffee”, “low lives”, etc. Because of this, we chose to leave, as it did not reflect well on the family owned business. Ordered coffee and lemon muffin and oh my, how delicious the muffin was .. not too sweet and the icing had just the right amount of lemon! My Caramel Macchiato was good and hot, I just started drinking them so I have nothing to compare. Read moreWe stopped one morning to get some lattes and breakfast burritos after walking our dog along the Mickelson trail. Both were very good! The staff member who helped me (I think he was the owner) was very friendly and I had a nice time chatting with him while he made our drinks. The shop is cute and cozy and they have some nice Black Hills/Hill City merch - including handmade Christmas tree ornaments! I grabbed a few gifts while waiting for our food.
