This place is so amazing! If you are interested in history (American/Related to Dinosaurs), dinosaurs at all, or crystals and gemstones along with other interesting natural creations then this is the place for you. The space seemed small on the outside but I think actually compliments the exhibit well as you go through and see how much information there is to take in and more at times felt like the space expanded with how things are arranged! There is a whole room dedicated to crystals and such and if you're looking to purchase your own (in any style and form), the gift shop is incredibly priced. The amount of Dinosaur material they have is awesome and again the gift shop had many delightful items. This place is worth stopping in if you're in the area for Mt. Rushmore or other attractions. The fact that this museum is built off of a small gymnasium and still has more fossils than any other museum I've ever seen, all of which are from incredible animals is simply extraordinary. All of this is ran by Peter Larson, the man who helped discover some of the most famous fossils of all time, including Sue.
