Notoriously bad at getting orders correct and tiny serving sizes. Their reputation is well earned. This is hands down the worst Chipotle i have been to...so far.
Ordered through the app and picked up at the chipotlane on a Sunday night around 9:40PM. The place wasn't busy at all. There were 4-5 employees and maybe 2 customers including yours truly.
Ordered
In short out of the 7 components, they got 2 correct. 2 items were completely missing and so were any replacements for them. And all the portion sizes ordered were Extra but received was tiny. Their Extra seems to be lesser than normal portion sizes at other places. And this is despite the fact that quite a few other locations nearby, charge a lower price for each item compared to this location. So you get exactly what you asked for while paying lesser.
I think this location has great potential. If they start throwing the bag of food at the customers face and being rude/snarky with customers, they will definitely carve out a niche like those (intentionally) 'rude service' places. Some people will pay good money for that kind of thing, however i am not one of them and i will definitely need to lose a bet or get paid to order from this location. Until evidence points to significant improvements around here i will refrain from returning.
The way it is currently operating, one could be forgiven for thinking that someone was actively trying to sabotage this Chipotle. There are more than 10 chipotles between here and Portland and whoever is managing this doesn't seem to have ever visited or been trained at one...ever.
With great sorrow I must add that this location in its current state, is probably better off closed than open, which is very sad, since the location is quite convenient.
P.S: If there are shortages for items in a specific location, the app should appropriately warn customers that certain items are unavailable. If that had been known, i may have considered a different chipotle nearby. If sufficient warning hasn't been made in advance, the customer should still be made aware of the issues and their input should be taken on what kind of replacements for the food or refunds can be made for this issue. The customer should never be served 5/7 items wrong unless they knowingly sign up for a random mystery box which excludes most of the items that...
Read moreMaybe I’m a bit picky because other Chipotle’s get it right, but the first time I came to this location the burrito was wrapped very poorly. Some of the fillings spilled completely out of the burrito (like the steak😢) and when I was opening the burrito and eating it, the burrito opened up awkwardly allowing more fillings to spill out. I had also asked the cashier if there was any Tractor bottled black tea in the back, but cashier didn’t check and said “i don’t think we have that, never seen it before”, which is strange because Chipotle didn’t phase it out as far as I know. It was an awkward experience being at this location, I don’t expect happy smiles or anything, but it’s just awkward vibes.
I decided to try one more time because it is a bit closer than the Beaverton location (which I love!), but again, the burrito was spilling out as it is being wrapped (i never ask for a little extra of something, mind you). So bad that they had to double-wrap it, luckily I hadn’t eaten much that day, so I wasn’t too worried about the extra calories. But if I was trying to watch my calorie intake for health reasons, a tortilla alone is 320 calories, that’s an unnecessary compromise. I could tell the associate felt a bit of remorse, but no remedy to the problem regardless. I get home, and as you see in the picture, fillings out of the burrito and spilling as I eat, worrying about rice/guacamole/whatever else falling on my clothes, which makes for a mediocre experience.🥲
Portions were good, customer service was okay, which is why I gave 3 stars in general.
I also don’t think the workers want to do this kind of job, so I hope this review implores this location’s management to revise their training time/methods. Will not be coming back to this location ever, only Beaverton location now, and probably less often because of...
Read moreI've ordered from this location three times over different weeks, and each time was disappointing. Even though it's closer to home, I'll be driving 20 minutes to the Chipotle in Tanasbourne area (2048 NW Stucki Pl, Hillsboro, OR 97124 ) next time. Support local, but save yourself the hassle—head to the other locations!
Portions of rice, chicken, cheese and sour cream are smaller than other Chipotles in Beaverton and Hillsboro. They charge $10 for a chicken quesadilla, despite the mobile app listing it at $9.90. Cashiers claim ignorance when asked. Takeout and dine-in orders don’t show up in the app’s order history or rewards system. Service is super slow—servers take forever to assemble a bowl, with no clear handoff between them. Even with one customer in line! The servers barely speak to customers! ..they possibly assume the customer will tell them what they want anyways (nudging them out of day-dreaming!). On one occasion, the first server was just staring at the cashier who was talking to a customer paying at the counter (to listen to god knows what!) while getting the food in my bowl at a glacial pace! I avoid curbside pickup or drive-thru due to fear of order mistakes and wasted time. Despite numerous reviews, this location hasn’t improved. Staff are polite but inexperienced (possibly doing this part-time, or are in high school or college or recent graduates). I believe they can all learn! A more experienced server could mentor others (inexperienced ones), improving speed, quantity, and cleanliness, while learning...
