My First Time Visiting Tacos El Patron Will Probably Be My Last Time. The Food Was Okay But Their Customer Service Is Non-Existent. When I Walked Up To The Order Window There Was A Worker A Young Man Probably Early To Mid 20s Taking Orders. I Started Asking Questions In Spanish About The Menu And He Pretended Like He Couldn't Understand What I Was Saying And Seemed Annoyed So I Started Ordering In English Instead Which He Responded To Immediately But I'm Not Sure If I Offended Him Because I Talked To Him In Spanish 1st Because He Almost Seemed Like He Couldn't Be Bothered With Questions. Their Menu There Is Only Pictures So I Was Asking About Pricing And Telling Him What I Wanted. We Ordered The Chicken Taquitos And An Order Of Doraditos. I Had Specifically Asked Him How To Order Because I Wanted Quesa Birrias With Consome And Thats The Plate He Recommended Because He Said Came With The Quesabirrias. We Waited And Once Our Order Was Done He Handed Me The Food Which Was Multiple Boxes Without A Bag And When I Asked For One He Said Sorry Were Out Of Bags And I Didn't Think Much Of It And Walked To My Car. Someone Had Pulled Up To Order Right After Us While We Were Waiting On Our Food And As Were Walking To Our Car I See The Lady Who Had Ordered After Me Walking To Her Car With Her Order In A Nicely Packed Bag Which Really Upset Me Because I Had Just Asked For One And Was Told No. I Then Arrive Home To See My Chicken Taquitos Are Actually Potatoe And My Doraditos Order Was Actually Birria Rolled Taquitos Which Is Not What I Wanted. I Tried Calling The Number On Website And Left A Voicemail Asking For A Callback Because Of The Horrible Experience And Still Haven't Heard Backback. Food 3/10 Customer Service 0/10. I Would NEVER Recommend This Place To Anyone Unless You Like Being Mistreated For Literally No Reason. As Someone Who Works In The Customer Service Business I Really Hope The Owner Can Hire Some Good People Who Take Pride In Their Job Before Their Lack Of Customer Service Ruins...
Read moreWas here yesterday afternoon with several friends and our experience was sadly dissapointing. 3 of us tried for several minutes to correct orders only to just give up. I was even speaking in spanish and spelling in both english and spanish as well as pointing at the truck. Granted my spanish maybe a bit rusty, but i skated by growing up in los angeles and with over a decade of spanish lessons and some italian.
For 4 orders, it took ~20 minutes to place and when we either got our orders correct or just settled on the same item being repeated for us over and over, 3 of our four orders were wrong, and no more limes?
I get u want the majority of the money coming in to your hands as opposed to other venues, but opening multiple establishments while diminishing quality is a reason i will not be returning until this whole "uber crowd/wrong order/ lack of care or attention clears up. The saddest part is all the acknowledgement over the bad reviews "
Read moreSave yourself the regret and avoid this place at all costs. My family and I, while traveling Highway 101, craved authentic Mexican food and were misled by the over 4-star rating on Yelp. What a mistake.
From the moment we arrived, the cashier—a rude, clueless I think white boy—greeted us with a dismissive "What do you want?" Ignoring his terrible attitude, I ordered in perfect Spanish: 2 Super Burritos de Azada, Tacos Dorados de Birria, 2 Tacos Tijuana de Azada, and 2 Quekas de Birria. His blank stare forced me to switch to English.
I mean why would you hire spanish speaking cashiers in a Mex taco truck?
When our order finally arrived, it was missing salsa, napkins, and utensils. After another frustrating encounter with the boy, we received just two salsas. Then came the real disappointment: the food. The birria tasted like watered-down beef bouillon with a sprinkle of onions and cilantro—absolutely revolting. The tacos dorados were so hard they felt like chewing on bricks, and the birria inside was as tough as gum. The burritos were filled with undercooked rice and beans, utterly flavorless. The Tijuana tacos, laughably, came with just one tortilla—an insult to Mexican cuisine. The Quekas, meant to be fried quesadillas, lacked the essential cheese.
This place is a total disgrace. From the atrocious service to the inedible food, it was the worst dining experience of my life. This place deserves to be shut down immediately....
