So glad I checked this place out. It's in the new Reeds Crossing area, which is really nice and has plenty of parking (which is a huge plus). Walking in, the first thing you notice is all the light from those huge windows. The vibe is super cool and cozy—they've got these vintage-looking chairs and sofas, a few simple chandeliers, and my favorite touch: coffee bags from different countries hanging from the ceiling. It just works. I even saw a table with a built-in chessboard, which I thought was a nice touch. I grabbed an Aztec mocha and a pastry, and the mocha was honestly delicious. The chocolate was rich without being too sweet, just perfect. This is the kind of place you can just post up for a few hours to work or catch up with a friend. The atmosphere is great, and the staff was really friendly. Definitely my new go-to coffee spot.

Decided to check out the new Insomnia Coffee location at Reed’s Crossing. Was a little bit disappointed with the service. Not quite as friendly as the Murrayhill location. And the latte art was lacking. The cafe latte did not come out as smooth or bold as the other location. Nice space though. Hopefully, the barista will be more trained to be friendlier and making a better cup of latte.

Literally the worst matcha i have ever seen and tasted in my life and mind you this is a STRAWBERRY matcha , the taste was awful , the matcha powder used was a very low quality matcha and the service was unfriendly. Wasted $6 + tip.

I waited a whole 24 hours to make sure I wanted to leave this review. But it still bugged me the next day so I thought I would. Yesterday, my family and I decided to go this location, I’ve been going to insomnia since 2011 and went to the Baseline location all the time. So I was so excited to have a location 5 minutes away. It was really busy and that didn’t bother us. But the girl who was taking our order, dark hair, pony tail, we were there around 10:30am-10:40am. There was no “hi, how are you?/How are you guys?” Just stared at us until we started awkwardly telling her our order. You can tell she was already annoyed with us and I understand that it was busy but if you work at a coffee shop that’s been around forever, that’s expected for a Saturday morning. (Also, coming from a person who worked as a barista for 5 years). She asked us if we wanted our order to-go or for here? And we said for here. Once our order was ready they had them in to-go boxes which was odd to me because is we wanted to sit down and enjoy our morning together. A little part of me felt strange because most people who got their order to it there that morning had their plates. Maybe they assumed we wanted to leave because we had our 11 month old. Who knows. But overall, it was okay. I was really disappointed in the customer service and enough to probably not go to this location again. The drinks were great. But I feel like that food I ordered didn’t have the things that was supposed to be on them like as simple as butter. At this point I didn’t even ask for anything because it seemed like they just wanted us to leave. Again, that may have not been their perspective that’s how it felt...

Oh-my-gawd. I waited for 74 seconds and then was like, "Whaaa?". Then there was a moment where the staff was "laughing" and "doing their work" and not focused on my every whim. Jennifer, that will not do. Pay attention ta me. snap
