I may be biased... as I am originally from San Diego (and would frequent Mexico for authentic Mexican food). This is definitely NOT authentic Mexican food- which was disappointing, since the reviews for this place seemed promising. Staff (who took my order) was super nice, and they didn't charge me for "additional requested salsas" (like some places seem to do). Order was taken, and about 5 mins later food was prepared and ready for pick-up. So it was pretty quick- but definitely not "freshly prepared". *stuff was slapped in a tortilla and wrapped up or thrown in a to-go container. 2 burritos (1 breakfast burrito & a campechano burrito) and a carne aside quesadilla w/ beans/rice. Burritos were "ok" - on the smaller-side. Not a lot of flavor, but edible. My son, who will usually devour any and ALL mexican food... ate half and then didn't want the other portion. *not because he was full- but because it was lackluster. My daughter (who had the carne quesadilla) said the meat was kind of salty, and they threw on the bottom of the container shredded lettuce and tomato slices... which in essence made the quesadillas mushy and soggy. The beans lacked well "beans" and was super runny. (Almost as if they made it with pinto beans and lard - then extracted all the "beans" from it and put it in the container). Super weird, not ONE bean!!! And the rice was not at all flavored- looked liked white rice with tomato paste on it. *not even pepper added to it. 😔 Prices were like a little over $10 per item, which I believe is lower priced than other places nearby. But I'd rather pay the additional $3 or so for better tasting and quality food. *was gonna get 3 Tacos (pastor, carnitas and pollo) if the burritos were good - but it was "meh" so i saved the $2.75/taco! HARD PASS on this place!!!!!!!

Our usual Mexican spot was closed on a Sunday night so we thought we’d try this food truck with good reviews. I really wish we hadn’t. The nachos were thrown together with store bought chips that were immediately soggy and impossible to pick up. The meat was so salty I could only eat a couple bites. All of the toppings were mushy with big pieces of tomato, the salsas were pretty good though. But that’s about the only thing enjoyable about the meal. The tacos were maybe 3 bites and lacked flavor. Other reviewers seem to like the burritos so maybe those are better, but I wouldn’t come back.

I pass by here quite a bit on my way to and from work. I didn't bring lunch one day and decided to give them a try and am glad I did! Food is fresh and made to order. They are very friendly also which is an added bonus to the good food! I recommend the Asada fries which I grabbed today on the way home from the office!

If I could give this place no stars I would. I always order the same thing breakfast burrito no bacon no sausage. They always put bacon and sausage in it then I call to get it remade she tells me im being untruthful to bring the food in so I did.. I opened the burrito to show her she takes it and says in Spanish dont be dumb open it all the way so she does and throws it over the counter low and behold bacon and sausage in the burrito.. I pull out a piece of bacon and show her that its bacon she still denies it.. the burrito goes everywhere, bacon everywhere she sees it and tells the front counter to give me my money back and that they would serve me no more.. fine no worries.. you messed up the food the order was wrong I tried to give them a chance to make things right but they just want to insult their customers and not fix the food. If you have a special order on anything dont go here.. it sucks because I like to support small businesses but this behavior is exactly why people go to victoricos instead. I have a full staff that would go there and get food almost on a daily.. I can tell you after this interaction they won't be anymore....

The absolute worst Mexican food ever. We were super hungry and getting gas and bought two items here. Looked like a decent place. Got the Carne Asada Super Burrito and Chicken Quesadilla. The steak meat tasted like rancid hamburger. It definitely had been sitting out for a day or more. The rice was mush. Overall the burrito was tasteless. The entire experience was completely dissatisfying. The Chicken Quesadilla was awful. Ground bland greasy chicken. I have eaten Mexican food my whole life and this takes the crown for the worst ever. I'm wishing this wasn't in my belly. It is mind boggling how you can ruin something so easy and baffling how they stay in business. As I write this I feel my stomach turning. Excuse me while I purge this...
