11/06/2024 (Wed) The place that used to be Sushi Hana has quietly turned into a delicious-looking bento shop! They have a wide variety of menu options, and since we weren't quite sure what the difference was between hibachi and teriyaki, we decided to try the Hibachi Steak ($13.95), Chicken Teriyaki ($12.95), and Dragon Roll ($12.50). The teriyaki had a delicious char-grilled flavor, and everything was tasty. I ordered dinner to go this evening for my family. We were looking forward to it since we like Hibachi. I have to start with the food. My daughter ordered the scallops but unfortunately they were not cooked well. They were lightly cooked and even a bit on the raw side so that was strike 1. Strike 2 was both my wife and myself ordered Hibachi chicken which was supposed to have fried rice. I think we received the Teriayki chicken as we got white rice and the sauce was a teriyaki sauce. The last strike was the employee at the counter did not engage with me when I walked in to pick up our order. I waited for about 4 minutes and then I approached the counter and looked at the orders that were there for pickup and I found mine. They were not busy so I would have expected the staff to acknowledge my presence and be helpful to hand me our order. I would be careful on expectations here of getting...

Takuma Hibachi is close to my house and I stopped in to see what it was all about. My wife and I each tried a hibachi, one with noodles and one with fried rice. We thought both were delicious! The ginger sauce with the beef hibachi pairs wonderfully.

Since our first visit two months ago, we have been back at least once a week. Commonly, we’ll stop by on our home from our gym. The tasty food with protein, carbs, and veggies is a good after workout treat and refuel.
