Pho Tango Bistro — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I had not been in since before Covid and at that time I would have easily rated this place 💥💥💥💥. There have apparently been some changes in years since my last visit. Two of the three items ordered were correct. However, getting the 3rd right was an effort in futility. It was supposed to be an iced Vietnamese espresso with condensed milk, instead it was an iced tea with milk. No worries mistakes happen. Asked the server for the correct beverage and was told to keep the tea at no charge. Well meal over and the bill along with the iced espresso without milk arrives and told that there would be no charge for the espresso. Well with it being wrong, late and again wrong... yeah. Then I look at the bill, there is a customer copy, store copy but no itemized copy of the order. Since the bill is about ten dollars more than the two correct items it can easily be determined that both beverages were added by the server regardless of what she told me. I had intended to address this but my non-confrontational wife wouldn't let me. Subsequently this post is the last dealing that I'll have with Pho Tango and I'll just drive a bit further to Vivi's Vietnamese Noodle House...

Not what I was expecting 😕 😒 as I went in today, as I got in I waited and waited to be seated while there was no one at the front desk. After waiting to be seated the front desk person came out and start helping others and checking out the other customers than pointed at the corner table for 1 person. After I seated myself and waited awhile, she came out and give me the menu then left. As I waited for her to return for me to take my order I saw her just talking and laughing in the back with the other workers. I waited 10min and a few groups of customers come in and was seated right away and their order was taken.

I waited another 5 minutes, the same person pointed me to that corner seat still laughing and joking in the back. After another 5min, I ended up just getting out and headed to Pho Saigon across from this place. This is the worst service I've ever had coming here.

Don't waste your time here, just go over to "Pho Saigon". Best customers service over there. I spend a good amount...

Food was average. Place was clean. Service was terrible. The service energy was weird because it seemed like almost all of the other tables were getting great service. As a general observation the only real difference I noticed was that the tables getting great service were the tables with only white people. My wife and I are in an interracial marriage. I noticed there was another interracial couple that seemed to be having the same experience as us as I saw them awkwardly waiting for service and being ignored in the same manner as we were being ignored. They never came back to the table after they brought the food. I had to get up to get our chopsticks, water was never checked let alone refilled, they never even came over to ask us if we were ready for the check. Every step of the way it seemed like we had to demand service while seeing them provide excellent customer service to almost everyone else in there. Would have rather not spent money with this...
