Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hillsboro

We were super excited on our way home to Columbus from Cincinnati this past Saturday, April 5th, to find this classic Pizza Hut, that wasn't too far out of our way. The retro vibes were awesome, but unfortunately, our service and the food fell very short. First, we ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, but we weren't quite ready to order our entrees, so our server gave us some time. After watching her smoke a cigarette outside, we didn't see her for about ten minutes, until I finally got up to tell a server I could see behind the line, that we were ready to order. That server (who was not ours and was VERY VERY nice) finally took our order after about another five minutes of waiting. Our server finally appears and tells us a customer had kept her on the phone way too long putting in a carry out and just giving us way too much information about what the customer on the phone was requesting, etc. Ok, maybe she was just stuck on the phone too long. We never receive our mozzarella sticks, and when we finally get our food (after every other customer in the restaurant when we had been the first to get there before any of them), it all comes out separately. We also didn't get plates for awhile after the pizza, until we asked for them. The Big New Yorker we ordered was drenched in grease. We didn't mention any other issues to the server because it was my birthday and we were trying to keep it light, but the server did say she was taking our drinks off because of the wait. This was a very generous offer considering my son and I ordered water and my husband was the only one with a drink. /s When we received the bill, the Coca Cola was still there. Will never be back, as we are from Columbus and just wanted to check out the nostalgic vibes and try Pizza Hut again after years of not having it, but I'm afraid this has ruined them in general for us. I wish we had just gone in to take some pics of the cool...

Don't waste your time at this location. Every time I walk through the door the staff is nowhere to be found. When they finally see that there is a customer, you are not greeted but more or less looked at like you just ruined their day. I've ordered pizza here several times online trying to get the basil pesto drizzle (which you have to pay extra for as a topping) and I've never received it. When I called about it, I was never apologized to, just simply told it was because they were out. Ok that's fine, it happens, maybe mention that at the register and offer a refund for the topping I paid for and didn't receive. I was told over the phone that they would credit my money back after being put on hold multiple times. And I guess they must have forgotten because that also never happened. However, they never forget to print a receipt and ask for a tip, even though my pizza was not delivered nor did I sit in the establishment and get service. I will not tip because you made the product that your company sells and pays you to make. A tip is provided when some kind of extra service is provided. I'm disappointed that such a staple pizza place can have such bad service. 👎 Go to Papa...

I ordered a pizza shortly after 4. I received two notifications one for the time it was supposed to be there and one for the time cuz it was running late. And then proceeded to call about quarter till 6 and the employee I talked to was very rude. She proceeded to tell me that her driver called off and they were having to use door dash. And very rudely said I don't know what you expect me to do. I told her to forget it and I didn't want the order anymore. And told her I did not want the delivery anymore and I did not appreciate how rude she was being and that they had lost my business. And then a other pizza place delivered a pizza and I know they were also using doordash to deliver. Was not the right place was not the right pizza. If you're having problems with delivery times and delivery drivers maybe you should make a note on your website so people know. And the lady I talked to for Pizza Hut on the phone suggested I come and pick it up in person and I told her I'm at work and she became very rude. I will not ever order from Pizza Hut in Hillsboro Ohio again. If I could have done zero Stars...
