I really try hard multiple times to give a place a fighting chance. But today was it.
Every single time I go into the store every single person working in there is in the worst mood. Every single time. I get having a bad day but four bad days on totally different days is a bit much. I also understand hiring young people to work for you however, you really need to focus on people with basic customer service skills because they are miserable all the time and today was no exception. I came through the drive thru and ordered a frappe and I asked for an apple turnover. The girl who took my order asked Apple or cherry? I said Apple. I absolutely hate cherry anything. I was on the phone with my husband and he made fun of the way I said Apple. That was a solid confirmation that I asked for Apple. I get to the window and she hands me my food and waiting on my drinks I take a bite of my turnover and itâs cherry. No problem, I tell her with the expectation that I will not be embarrassed by asking. She literally in the snotty way possible says no⌠thatâs what you asked for you said cherry. You said cherry! Not that it will make a solid difference in sales for you. But with such a beautiful building and awesome location, you could make this place such a wonderful experience and warm welcoming environment for people. Please hire better staff. Because the short heavy set girl in...

The doughnuts? Pillowy perfection. The coffee? Bold enough to make me believe in miracles. Together, they formed a tag team that got my belly revved up like a dragster at the starting line. Ten minutes later, I was sprinting toward destiny with the urgency of a man who'd just eaten truth in pastry form.
My wife said it was a cute place, but the doughnuts tasted no different than what you get at a gas stationâbecause, in her words, âtheyâre really not that hard to make.â Brutal. Accurate. Married.
Whites Bakery didnât just serve breakfastâit served release. Iâll be back, but next time Iâm bringing a stopwatch, a prayer, and extra toilet paper. Because when the pastries...
