Updated from 4 - 2 stars The newer ownership has really dropped the food quality. The food used to be good enough to overlook some cleanliness issues, but now, there’s really nothing worth going back for. There is better everything at other local places.
Previous review old owners(was 4 stars) I’m torn. It’s great food but dirty. I see so many gross habits. The order-placing negotiations are silly. When you call, try to pay credit card, you’ll be asked to pay cash. You’ll be asked to order soup. “No noodles?” You’ll get up-sold at every turn, but the food is good and not the same frozen stuff that you’re getting at all these other places. They’re chopping up chicken from whole not cooking up frozen food. I see some of the reviews mention incorrect orders. I’ve ordered 30+ times and that’s never been a problem. Read moreHave been going here for years. Best chinese i've found hands down. (and i work in the city) Some of the reviews don't add up. Never had any issue in 15+ years. Food is excellently priced. Good quantities. Everyone has always been friendly. Once in a while egg rolls come a little oily, but i mean hey. Its a fried egg roll. For a buck and change...have to be pretty critical. Its chinese food. Not fine dining.

I imagine they could get pretty busy during dinner, being the best chinese in town; but would never blame them for being busy. Some of these reviews are nuts. It's not Tavern on the Green. You're getting an entire family meal for the price of a cocktail-and personally i love the food.. friends agree. Long time community staple. Family run business, and happy...
