Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Hilltown Township

This Rita's is the worst. The customer service is horrendous. The older blonde hair lady (she seems like she runs the place) was helping a customer who had her kid with her and I was standing by the register looking at the menu looking at the flavors for my kid and the blonde hair lady told me in a non friendly tone could I move out the way so the other customer could pay for her order.

The few times I have visited this Rita's the blonde hair lady always looks stressed and when the store first opened they didnt have any of the common flavors available and the taste of the water ice you could tell they were skimping on the ingredients probably to cut their costs down.

It's ashame that we finally get a local Rita's in our town and I still have to travel out of town to get Rita's because I will not patronize any place that makes me feel that my presence is not wanted in their establishment.

The worst mistake any of the local businesses make is making me feel some type of way as a customer because I will not spend my money at their store and I tell all of my friends and family not to patronize the businesses and they listen to me. Alot of revenue is to be lost and I am sure the busineses are feeling it.

Great place to get your water ice love the flavor selection. Inside is a tad small there is a small seating area inside. They have 2 small ice-cream parlor tables set up. comfortably it can fit 5 people anymore then that and it seems like it would be a tight fit. When i was went there was a long line and that was kinda a pain since there is not much room from the counter to the door people are walking infront of you trying to get in and out of the line . It is a tad disturbing for those in the small seating area when people are crammed next to you waiting... But the lines moves pretty quickly. But overall it's place for a cool treat...

So happy we have a more local Rita’s in the area. I love that it’s attached to Philly Pretzel, because who doesn’t love a water ice/pretzel combo?? For the people complaining they don’t have enough flavor selection, they just opened. I’m sure as time goes on they’ll add to their list like the veteran stores around. I enrolled in their flavor list emails and keep an eye on what they have that day. They had two sugar free options today when we went and both were delicious! I also love that they have Juicy Pear frequently which is my husband’s favorite. We usually don’t see that flavor often. Keep up...
