If negative stars could be left they would get 10. I ordered fajitas from here once before and they were horrible plus did not have any vegetables in them. Just dry over cooked meat. I have loved on the Mexican border and been all over the U.S. And this is by far the worst excuse for Mexican food. I thought maybe it was just the fajitas that they were clueless about cooking so I ordered again. This time something different. Well same result over priced bland tasteless stuff and not much of at that. Good thing too cause we threw it out after just a couple bites!! I read the other reviews on here and all I can say is they are either family or people who have never eaten real Mexican food so they don't know any better. The food didn't even come with chips and salsa!? What Mexican restaurant doesn't give you chips and salsa? Maybe Taco Bell, they make better food though, it at least has flavor. Cheese is something else that Mexican food usually has and the menu said "cheese" but the food had maybe 5 little strings of dried cheese on it. In conclusion, don't waste your money here. I struggled between giving it 3 or 4 stars and decided on 4 only because the waitress was extremely overwhelmed. I drove 45 min from Philly to take my mother, who is from same state as owners. There was only one couple who was halfway done with their meal, we were promptly seated and not long after, we placed our order. We watched as 3 other tables that arrived after us all got their food, waitressdid bring us chips n drinks and kept apologizing for keeping us waiting explaining that she had to not only serve but answer the phone and take online orders. We finally got our food over an hour after ordering. My mother was disappointed as her food was too salty for her, my tamales were a little dry but that's only because they used corn husk instead of banana leaves (they keep moisture better), I thought I'd fare better with dessert so got the Mexican fried ice cream and the cinnamon tortilla it was on, tasted like it was pre-made, frozen and tasted stale. Food was OK- when we got it. Service was friendly but otherwise fair to poor. Place is not very big. We sat and waited a bit before anyone came over - dropped off chips and what appeared to be Pico de Gallo but had very little flavor. We ordered and watched the table next to us get 2 sizzling plate fajitas - but no plates of garnish ( lettuce tomato guacamole rice) - took 5+ minutes for that to come out. Then my girlfriend's fajita plate was delivered with the garnish but no torts! The waitress says "OH, you wanted torts with that?" She asked flour or corn when she took the order - and how do you eat fajitas without them??? So she waited while her food cooled until the torts arrived. My plate was still 5+ minutes after that. How do you have a 2 top and both meals can't be served at the same time and completely? We won't be going back.
