Since moving to Southeast Georgia, I have come to expect slow and poor service at any McDonald’s, or any so-called fast food joint for that matter. I don’t know what it is about this part of the country, But customer service in fast restaurants is definitely very low on the list of qualities. With that expectation in mind, this here McDonald’s doesn’t disappoint. I had an appointment in Hinesville, and I wanted to get something for my drive back, which would normally take me about 25 minutes. I figured I’d stop at McDonald’s and get something quick… Yeah, quick. I don’t know why they call this stuff fast food anymore because it definitely is coming fast. My order was placed at 10:19 for curbside. I guess you could say it was a simple order, a chicken biscuit, a coffee, and a hash brown. After waiting until 10:47, I decided to just cancel and go. When I tried to cancel, the app told me it was too late to cancel because my order has been started. I should’ve eaten my order by that time, but anyways.. So I proceeded to wait for another 5 minutes and it did finally come out. The person bringing out the food was clearly very unhappy and didn’t even respond when I prompted a good morning. She handed me my stuff and left without saying a word and a grumpy look on her face. Like honestly, I probably wouldn’t be leaving a review right now if the person had said something like, I’m sorry for the weight. We are very busy, or would’ve greeted me with a happy good morning. But no, just a grumpy attitude and off she went.
So then, let’s focus on this food. The Biscuit was more than abit hard and tasted like it had been sitting under heat lamp for an hour. The chicken was a piece of rubber. The hash brown and coffee were good, but in the amount of time that I waited, I could’ve been already at home and had fresh ground beans and made myself a quadruple shot latte of any flavor that I wanted. In the amount of time that I waited, I could’ve went to a waffle house Down the street, got a full breakfast and probably an opportunity to toss hands at someone. In that amount of time, I probably could’ve went to a regular slow sit down restaurant and got a whole freaking meal. 33 minutes of my life that I will not get back, And I am happy to say that this particular McDonald’s will not get one more minute of my time. Read moreAt approximately 440ish on 02/04/25 I Went through the drive through came up to the 2nd window because noone was at the 1st window for payment "Employee must of stepped away" no big deal not mad or upset about that things happen as I pull to the 2nd window a white female in a t-shirt as polite as can be states to me as I handed her my debit card oh you forgot to pay thats ok let's get that taken care of as I stated to her I'm sorry but Noone was at the 1st window a Heavy set white woman in her mid 40's ish looks right at me and says you pay at the 1st window you never pay here with straight attitude i apologized and then explained to her noone was at the 1st window and she became very argumentative with me stating yes there is someone there I explained once more ma'am noone is at that window hint why there is still vehicles lined up at the window waiting to give their payment calls me a lier runs my payment hands my card to the polite female to give back to me and goes to the 1st window to accept customers payment ""BECAUSE NOONE WAS AT THE 1ST WINDOW"" ..... To the female that was polite fantastic customer service and that you for trying to resolve the minor issue and for the female that brought our food while we waited in the pick up stall thank you for being very polite as well to the "Heavy Set White Female manager in her mid 40's you should take a few lessons from the employees that you oversee you clearly need to work on your people skills"" i always have issues with this McDonald's but I never held it against all the orders that were messed up because in all reality it happens it's a fast food joint and orders get messed up all the time but the establishment is built on customer service ......not attempting to shine any bad light on this McDonald's giving...
Read moreI placed a mobile order on 5/29/2025 at 5:33pm. It was the McDouble $5 meal. PLAIN McDouble, 4 chicken nuggets, small fry and drink. Waited at the mobile order slot 3. No one brought order out after 30 minutes of waiting. Went inside, no one acknowledged any of the customers waiting meal while doordash orders, new orders being placed on kiosk are being made QUICKLY! After waiting inside for an additional 20 minutes, a young lady finally brings the meal to me. It’s made completely wrong. The hamburger was supposed to be plain and it was made with all toppings. I asked her for a refund, she walked off with out saying anything. 15 more minutes of waiting (now over an HOUR) a young man finally comes to the front and said “who wants the refund and why” I explained I have been in his location for an hour and 15 minutes waiting for my sons food and never got it, once I got it, it was made wrong, can I please just have my money back, he would not refund my money as I did not have my physical card in person it’s on my phone. He said there’s nothing he could do. I called corporate, they explained they are creating a ticket for the owner of this franchise and the owner should be reaching out. No food, no money.
