From the moment I stepped into St. Eve’s, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere strikes a beautiful balance—warm and intimate with a rustic charm, yet polished with modern touches that immediately set the tone for an elevated dining experience. Soft lighting, reclaimed wood accents, and thoughtfully curated details make it feel like you’ve stumbled upon a secret haven for food lovers.
What truly sets the tone, though, is the staff. From the host to the servers, everyone exudes genuine warmth and hospitality. They’re not just courteous—they’re passionate about what they do, offering thoughtful recommendations and sharing the story behind each dish with pride and excitement. It feels less like you’re dining out and more like you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home.
And then, of course, there’s Chef Stefan.
His cooking is nothing short of artistry—each plate arriving with flawless presentation and even more impressive flavors. Every bite was layered, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying. The Prince Edward Island mussels, served in a fragrant broth of lemongrass, Thai green curry, and coconut milk, were a masterclass in balance—briny, creamy, spicy, and impossibly fresh. The broth was so extraordinary, so irresistibly flavorful, that I couldn’t resist asking for more of the warm, freshly baked bread (served complimentary) just to soak up every last drop.
As for the main course, the duck breast was an absolute standout—cooked to a perfect medium rare, with a crisp, rendered skin and a depth of flavor that was both rich and refined. Paired with seasonal accompaniments that elevated the dish without overpowering it, it was a perfect showcase of Chef Stefan’s ability to balance classic technique with bold, modern flavors.
St. Eve’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Chef Stefan and his team have created a place that celebrates food, service, and atmosphere with equal heart. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or someone just looking for a perfect night out, this place delivers in every possible way.
Don’t miss it. And whatever you do—get the mussels (and keep that bread basket close). Oh, and the duck?...

Word had it that the spot recently welcomed a new chef who’s been revamping the menu, so I decided to stop by on a Wednesday night. Now, let’s talk about the food, the true highlight of the evening. We began with the mussels, and they were a revelation. I had no idea mussels could be so tender and delicate. The sauce, rich and flavorful, was perfect for dipping with the accompanying white bread—enough to make a meal on its own. We also tried the crab and seaweed salad, a refreshing and flavorful dish that complemented the mussels beautifully.
For the main course, we indulged in the ribeye, seared to absolute perfection, and finished the meal with a peach cream dessert that was every bit as exquisite as the courses preceding it.
