Me & Da Mama travel to Lake Station because it's the Only one we like... Always has good hot food with friendly service... Unfotunantly yesterday was a different story... The girl that took out order acted like she wanted to be there about as much as she wanted needles shoved in her eyes... Proceeded to go to get condiments... Either the table was leaking or what have you... But I Almost fell... Wretched my back right back outta place... Told them... And got stared at like some kinda idiot... Then to add insult to injury cold food??? Really??? And did she clean the mess up??? Nope Put a sign up... This is the ONLY TIME I've EVER had a bad experience there... At 4pm the food should be fresh... Not cold fries and oil soaked fish that was lukewarm at best... I'm gonna be calling there too... Because this is an excellent place to eat... But when I hurt myself and have some girl look at me like I'm some kind of idiot just made me mad... Sont let this deter you from going there... It won't me... This Long John Silver’s is a gem! The worker at the drive-thru last night was super enthusiastic and friendly, which made ordering a pleasure. Our food came out fresh, hot, and exactly right. The inside has that nostalgic, old school look you don’t see much anymore. It’s clean, decently kept, and feels like stepping back in time in the best way. Don't get me wrong it is very old in there, but for what it is, it's got character. There aren’t many of these places left in the area, so it’s nice to see one still holding strong. The manager has always been accommodating and polite. One time my order was wrong, and not only did they fix it without any hassle, they also offered me a free meal. Their customer service has always been good. They never forget all the sauces I ask for either. On another occasion the cashier even offered us a free drink while we waited. Small gestures like that really stand out! Plus, the coupons in the mail are a great bonus. Between the great service, fresh food, and classic atmosphere, this location is worth...

Food was standard, but the service was awful. We pulled up to the drive through at approximately 520 PM. There was a line, so we knew we'd have to wait a bit. One car in front of us in line pulled away after ordering and waiting a while. When we pulled up to the ordering speaker we were never acknowledged, not even to say "Welcome, we'll be with you in a couple of minutes". We finally ordered at 539 PM. Multiple cars in back of us left. We had attempted to call the business, but the phone was busy. At 552 PM, we got to the window (there were ultimately 2 cars in front of us). Again, no apologies were offered. At 553 PM we paid; at 555 PM we were asked to pull up. Finally, at 557 PM we got our food. There were no plastic ware or napkins in the bag. The positive is there were ample sauces in the bag and our food was hot. Almost a forty minute wait at a drive through is more than excessive. There were 5 staff members in the restaurant that I saw.
