McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Hobbs

The female short haired manager working July first at 6:30pm is a terrible manager. She needs a class on customer service.. Awful first experience at this location. Ordered a blt+a sandwich plate had dried up food on it..when the order came out my sandwich looked like it was grilled but was cold and was told by the manager that it’s a cold sandwich.. ok? My BLT also did not have Lettuce... Our friends at the table ordered a French dip sandwich was cold when it came out and so was the dip Her fiancés spud was burnt and we had to send it back when it got to the table. My friend brought her sandwich inside and the manager was trying to argue with her about my sandwich being cold and then barely said anything to her about what she was going to do about her sandwich Asked her which register she ordered on then refunded her meal without communicating it with her The other employees were great and the male food runner was extremely kind

We've all gone to restaurants for a quick bite between appointments, on our lunch break from work, or as a means to stretch during a long drive.

Some of these places, considered a classic choice (See: McDonald's, Burger King, etc), offer what McAllister's offers. They offer a place to sit, food to eat, a bathroom to freshen up in.

None of those weigh heavily on a scale of where to go as much as how close they are.

With McAllister's, I find myself driving a little further.

Every time I've been here, the restrooms have been clean. The food hot and well-presented. The employees don't flutter through their shifts as a worker bee, they seem to be driven and genuine in their work and their welcomes.

A coworker of mine and I frequently visit McAllister's across three different towns. Every time we visit, we are comfortable and the food hits the spot exactly.

Absolutely zero complaints with these stores and always look forward...

I understand things are crazy with Covid going on. however we waiting for 45 min at the front door just for the staff to repeatedly ignore us and then when she finally came to the door she advised that they are not doing curbside because of lack of staff. the sign on the door and online says otherwise. she was very rude and had they told us when we first arrived we would have joined the drive through line. after repeatedly having to knock on doors she finally brought us our food and completely ignored the sweet girl standing next to me who was also in the same predicament. if I hadn't of already paid we would have left however we paid online. then when we tried to call they would pick up and hang up without ever saying a word.
