My fiancé and I went in to Zales to look at wedding bands for our upcoming wedding and got lucky enough to show up on a day they were having a Diamond Event. We were immediately greeted by their warm, welcoming staff and were introduced to our incredibly helpful and wonderful sales associate, Celeste, who did an amazing job at helping us find the perfect ring. And because of the Diamond Event, we were able to walk out with my wedding band the same day. Claimed they don't even have testing acid to test a ring they might take on trade-in or buy from a customer. I call total BS! Furthermore, they quoted the most ungodly jacked up price to replace a small pin in a link bracelet. I told them that "we poor folks can't afford to feed your stockholders" and left. They wanted $120 just to fix the tiny pin in the bracelet which would take all of 20 minutes. Just like auto dealer mechanics, only the...
