Casapulla's Hockessin Subs & Steaks — Restaurant in Hockessin, Delaware

My family and I are so very disappointed with the service at this establishment. We order here all the time. Sometimes they miss the mark but today was unforgivable. I called and spoke to the Manager Racheal. She could care less about the fact that the food was spoiled. Three of the Old School hoagie we ordered were gross. The meat was rotten. I let her know we reordered 3 Hoagies but this time it was the regular Italian hoagie. They were perfectly fine. The meat and cheese on the Old school and regular hoagie are totally different except the imported ham. The difference is night and day. She kept insisting that she cut the meat last night. It's obvious she can't tell the difference between fresh cut and spoiled meat. We didn't want our money back... we just wanted them not to sell the bad meat to the other people. Rachel was very dismissive. I'm so disgusted with her attitude. It was like talking to a brick wall. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this establishment and will definitely inform my family and friends to Never order from a place that doesn't care about feeding their customers bad food. All she had to do was check the meat used for that particular hoagie. I pray no one gets sick. So since Racheal replied to my comment... you spoke to Casandra not Barbara. You were rude and kept insisting that you cut that spoiled meat the night before. When I called you to let you know the meat was spoiled you were clearly offended. I did not cuss at you until you tried to end the call abruptly. You kept cutting me off by trying to explain the difference in the meats used on the hoagies. That part wasn't the problem. THE PROBLEM WAS THE SPOILED MEAT. EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE HOAGIE WAS FINE. A SIMPLE APOLOGY WOULD HAVE DONE WONDERS. You Cleary do not own this establishment. Manager I highly doubt that. If you are you need to be retrained in customer service. You lied in your response which shows your lack of character. Who would want to come back to an establishment where customers clearly are not valued. We will happily take our business elsewhere. Get that...

Was excited for this place to come to Hockessin but seems like there’s always an issue. Not answering the phone, missing items in my order, and now today we were gifted a meal and when we went to pick it up, were told it wasn’t there. It was ordered and ready after all in the end, but we were told there was an issue with the payment and we had to pay for it. Not sure how that is acceptable when the payment should have been processed upon when it was ordered, not when the gift recipient comes to pick it up. By far the worst food ever. The food was kept under the grill top when I got there. I ordered a hot dog with cheese and all the cheese was stuck to the parchment paper. My onion rings were rolled up so tight they were all mushed together in a ball. The “large” fries were so soggy and disgusting. They definitely do not care about the quality of the food they serve. I will never be spending my money here again. I called to speak to the manager and she said “well it doesn’t seem like you like our food, so I don’t know what you want me to do”. Talk about...
