Cafe Asia — Restaurant in Holbrook

I was so disappointed with my return visit here. I was so impressed with my first visit that I recommended others, mostly because the kind women out front was so exceptionally friendly. On my second visit the "manager" or gentleman in charge refused to honor my coupon for a couple cans of soda. I realize this sounds petty, but it's a matter of principle and I will not return. He claimed that the fried rice with the pupu for two was a coupon (it is not) and I could not use two coupons. They still have not corrected this issue. He seemed perfectly fine if I never returned rather than honoring the coupon with a couple cans of soda. Again, it's the principle. I won't be back without a correction...

First of all, the food was actually pretty good. My main issue is that they overcharge and actually try to steal money from you. I got 2 dinner plates from the menu directly attached to the counter which each said they were like 11 dollars and change each. Total came to 37 something, and I asked why. The lady said the prices changed, I said fine whatever and handed her a 50. She handed me 2 dollars and change back and tried to pocket the extra 10. When I said something she claimed she couldn't understand. I'm white but I speak mandarin decently well, so I told her in mandarin that I was missing a 10 and she suddenly gave it to me. This place is truly a diamond in the rough! I would have never stopped or tired just by driving by but a friend of mine told me this was the only Chinese food they would eat, so why not? Boy was I surprised! They have the best Chinese chicken wings around, no contest! They are darkly cooked which makes me think they are marinated for some time in delicious teriyaki sauce. The chicken teriyaki is delicious as well. You can actually taste the teriyaki instead of some places where the chicken just taste like KFC wings. If you live near by you must give them a taste!
