Meola's Ice cream — Restaurant in Holden

My family has always been big fans of Meolas because of the variety of inventive flavors and sundaes. I am surprised by how much they are charging this season for the smallest ice cream cone. I would prefer a smaller amount at a lower price. It adds up to a lot to take your family out for ice cream. My main disappointment however is that the last couple times we have gone to the Holden location, they have been out of all sorbet. We have two family members who have dairy allergies or intolerance--it's pretty common in our population. Meolas, you lost our business twice already because you don't have any sorbet. I was told it's not going to be restocked this season at this location. Seems that you dont care about your customers who have medical reasons they can't have dairy ice cream. We will have to find a different ice cream stand to frequent for the rest of this season...and maybe...

High prices small sizes it's the only local ice cream place in town now that friendly's is gone. So it definitely gets the crowds however I've been disappointed both times the Sundaes are expensive but they now offer the junior Sundae,what you need to ask for because I did not know they had that size before, which is quite small for the price. My husband got the twist was only $0.25 more for the large so we went for the large it took him three tries to make it and it had lots of like ice chips or something in it and it wasn't very flavorful or that large. So if you looking for quick ice cream to celebrate something or for a hot night I would recommend it but it's definitely not the best ice...

Third time going tonight and for the third time, my order/payment is wildly incorrect. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them more chances, but they are terrible. Mistakes happen- I get it- but this is above and beyond incompetence. If you get an order incorrect just fix it. If you can’t do the math, don’t just make up a random number. Sad to see this for a local spot. Would have love to talk to someone about this but they never pick up the phone and there is no...
