Ventured here on a Tuesday evening, when it was not busy at all, trusting their 4 star rating, they still could not manage a decent level of service. Some things that contributed to our 1-star experience were:
I always make a point to tip generously as any one member of staff can have a bad day, but it takes real effort for every member of the staff to come together and make your experience truly terrible. Could not justify even 5% tip, as that would be unfair to other members of the industry who at least make an effort.
Never coming back to...

The service was very slow, and the order arrived incorrect. The food quality has also gone downhill. Undercooked appetizer, and the curry was subpar at best. Water glass wasn't properly rinsed and could taste the soap still in it. Our curry had little meat, and it was clearly left-over, low-quality chicken. My friend even found lamb in his chicken curry!
Not sure what has changed in the past month, but it was a terrible experience and we won't be returning for a 3rd visit.
January 7, 2025: Hands down, the best Indian Restaurant in Salt Lake! The service, the food, the atmosphere are all exceptional!
This place now has the best Saag in Utah. They make it proper, creamy, and well blended. The naan is fluffy and cooked just right. The Madras and Makhani were excellent. The spice levels are spot on. If you can't handle heat, only order mild.
Holy cow, the Gohbi Manchurian was cooked perfectly, and had just the right amount of sauce on it. The Samosa were also excellent! Can't wait to come back and try the Dosa! Yes, they have Dosa on the menu! And the price...

My wife's Chicken Tikka Masala was very flavorful and delicious. Better than most I thought, but my wife still favors Bombay House's.
My Daughter had the Madras Curry and it was good, but I've tasted better.
The complimentary mango mousse was very good. I think they gave us this because I told them ny entree was way too spicy; we didn't order it. So that was a nice gesture.
Their naan bread was anemic and portions were meager. I had the butter naan. Wife and daughter had the garlic naan.
The samosa appetizer was delicious and on par with Bombay House's.
Their Pani Poori appetizer was very flavorful and unique for Indian cuisine.
They have a number of less traditional Indian cuisine entrees on the menu so this would be a nice place for a larger group with some who may not favor hardcore Indian cuisine.
It took a while for the entrees to arrive but that was not unusual. But it took way too long to get the check and pay. We waited 20 minutes for this despite several hints to speed things up.
Prices are about normal for this type of dinner. Not...
