Village Inn Pizza & Sports Grille — Restaurant in Holland

ANOTHER NEW UPDATE- They, YET AGAIN, DISCONTINUED their Chicago Deep Dish! Which really was the one reason we ordered from there since theirs was THE BEST & no other restaurant does it correctly like they did. They said "It takes too long to make" HUH???!!! AND??? WE'RE the ones who should be upset about any lengthy waiting & we're not upset about that part since it's so good & as long as you let the customers know (both verbally & printed in the menu) it takes longer that wouldn't be an issue. Needless to say we haven't ordered or been there since it was discontinued. Like I said, that's all we ever ordered & usually 2 at a time for us to have leftovers. PLEASE BRING IT BACK AGAIN VILLAGE INN. OR at LEAST give me the recipe for the crust PLEASE??? UPDATE!!! THEY BROUGHT THE CHICAGO DEEP DISH BACK!! Sooo HAPPY!! Changed rating from 1 star up to 5 stars! I believe its available on the weekends only but that's ok! Just ecstatic they brought it back😋😋 THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! As soon as we found out we ordered it! I've NEVER tried a Chicago Deep Dish like theirs before, not anywhere! Its the CRUST that makes it so special, & the way the load the toppings on in a backwards fashion. It is just the BEST & MY WHOLE FAMILY IS VERY HAPPY THEY BROUGHT IT BACK!! ALSO, a big shout-out to their Chimichangas too! I dont know what their secret is but the whole thing is AMAZING!

THEY DISCONTINUED THE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA!!!! WTH?? My WHOLE family ordered the Deep Dish....and ONLY the Deep Dish!! No where else in Holland has a great Chicago Deep Dish like they did!! Some new owner bought them and took it off the menu! What an idiot! Now that I think about it he (or she) just lost 4 FAMILIES- total of 18 people because all of us ONLY EVER ORDERED THEIR...

I have been coming in to Village Inn in Holland, Mi. for the past 3 years. Every thing has all ways been great. The last 4 visits, over the past 2 months, August and September. The wait staff has been very disappointing. But today broke the camels back. The waitress was slow, did not know the Menu, did not know when happy hour started and ended. Took a long time get our drinks. A long time to get back to us to take our order. Did not come back to check to make sure everything was OK once our food arrived. We had to to go to other tables to get cheese, hot pepper flakes and more napkins. 2 friends came in and joined us. We closed out our bills from lunch. I said now we can open a bill for our drinks. Asked the waitress for 2 more menus for the 2 new guest that joined us. She came back grabbed her tips and thru the menus on the table and said " here are your menus for the second time. She was e tremendously rude. 5 minutes after the second order was taken, came and threw out bills on the table. I said we don't have our food yet. She said i need to cash out. I told her not untill my food gets here. She did not clean any of the drink glasses off our table. We all felt we were pushed out before we were ready to go. By the way, we were there today Sept. 5th...

Service was very slow even with a few customers in entire place at 5pm. Took a long time to be reconized after seating ourselves, Food took way too long after being placed. Waitress had no idea about basic drink prices and there is no drink menu. Barback said a domestic pint was $5 but we were charged differently in the end. I'm from out of town and can't say I would recommend this place. Our waitess only came by a few times in the 1.5 hours it took to get 1 sharable appetizer and drinks for 2 people. Not a very well managed establishment.

Recommendation to managment... we came in on Oct. 6th around 5:15pm so maybe this was a shift change however several other groups of people that came in after us got served first. The seat yourself don't work well if not reconized by staff. I would include a drink menu with draft prices and inform your staff about drafts on tap and their prices if you can't provide a menu. Our family size nachos came out very slow and was luke warm. A soft melting cheese like Velveeta with Rotel is much easier to eat than sheared cheese that clumps chips together but i understand everyone has...
