I truly wanted to love this place since it had good reviews and I’ve heard people rave about it. The first red flag was the hostess seating us at a table that had a dirty rag and spray bottle sitting on one of the chairs. She left it there until I pointed it out to her. After that, she brought out our utensils and menus. The utensils were brought out wet wrapped into a set of laminated, dirty menus. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the utensils weren’t washed properly and still had food from other patrons. It was clear that the menus were dirty & not regularly wiped down as they had food smeared over them and other stains. I’m not sure in what world it would be okay to place someone’s utensils on menus that everybody touches. When the food was brought out, some plates were served in wood board-like plates, as well as a skillet that was placed on top of a wood board. All of the wood boards were not properly maintained and were cracking, visibly unclean and in very poor condition. The mugs were visibly chipping and also in poor condition. A lot of their outdoor furniture was rusting, had dirt and stains on it. The food was also not great. I think the kids menu was cute and my son enjoyed it. I got the huevos a la mexicana with a side of beans, potatoes and toast with a cafe de olla. The cafe was good, but the chipped mug ruined it for me. The food was very mediocre and bland, it felt like I was eating air. They must have ran out of salt and seasonings. Everything tasted the same, just with different textures. Sadly, I won’t be back. It’s a germaphobe’s worst nightmare. This place has a lot of...

Read moreAmazing go to place for the best breakfast. Opens really early and they are ready to go. Average time spent there was an hour total for a family of 5. Our go to are the green chilaqules with chorizo topping or your choice of protein. My girls enjoy the breakfast plate loaded with egg, potatoes and bacon. Their pancakes are absolutely delicious and fluffy. Have to eat them right away though because they do become very chewy-like when cold.
Don't miss out on the Cafe de olla! No need to add sweetener or creamer because its perfect!
Chocolate la abuelita is served at a warm temperature and ready for the kiddos to enjoy topped with whipped cream.
Overall I love this restaurant over all...
