Pizza & staff here are wonderful. Lots of clean dining areas to sit at. Game area does need to get cleaned up/revamped w say a few arcade game type machines like b4. This section is oddly placed in center of parlor with a 1way in/out right by front door. Hard to keep an eye on kids from anywhere in restaurant unless you stand at front door. Staff at registers face the back of arcade area so they can't see what's happening in there as well. Lots of homeless camped out on side where you can park & in front, so safety is a concern. Arcade is priced great & tickets are received however machine to choose prizes w all the tickets didn't work. Change machine is also available & worked well. The story below is an above and beyond act of service. My niece and nephew were on this bus. Straw Hat pizza drove out of their regulated delivery radius to help feed these kids. To me that deserves 5 stars!! Thank you!
So thankful for the pizza guy who delivered pizzas to our 5th grade class stuck on the side of the road...i know you didnt get a tip i am so sorry but can you please send me your address and i will make it right...because u went out of your way to feed these kids who would not have had anything to eat thank you to fresno unified....apparently they have no back up plan for field trips....thank you straw hat pizza in Hollister! Being an honest man I have to give an honest review. The first time they messed up my order and gave me just pepperoni not pepperoni and sausage, and a small cheese not a medium on a delivery order. So I figure okay let me give them one more shot. I called today placed an order and they told me my total and my wait time was 20-25 mins. I called at 650 and I walked out the door at 815. They kept telling me 5 minutes more 5 mins more but took so long. Extremely unprofessional, I wouldāve respected them more if they were just honest with me with the wait times.
