Even a single One star is too high for this location. .. I don't know how to explain how so many things were just plain wrong.... This is NOT typical for this chain... For starters they were EXTREMELY short staffed. There was 1 person taking orders for both the counter and the drive thru. She was also running orders to parked customers that we're waiting for their food. On a positive note she was very friendly and polite but obviously extremely overworked. There was 1 guy in the kitchen making orders and to say they were slow in this process actually gives them credit. Finally, after some 10 minutes or so another worker (a manager I believe) did start filling orders. ... Here is where things went even more downhill... I ordered (and paid for) a LARGE drink...upon filling my order I was given a MEDIUM cup and told they were out of large cups... I just let it go. Then at the drink dispenser I found that several selections were out...so I had Diet Coke ... Again, I let it go. Upon entering the seating area, I finally found a reasonably clean table but the noise level was horrific. There were several "toddlers" literally screaming almost constantly...it was apparent that they were a workers children... I overlooked this because not knowing their circumstances, it may have been their only option but they really needed to control these kids as it made for a very unpleasant dining experience. The thing that I can't seem to let go....even overlooking all of the above issues...while the fries were nice an hot the Whopper was a disaster.... appearently, in addition to running out of large cups, several drinks for their dispenser they must have also ran out of the larger buns. The meat was normal size but the bun was tiny. To top everything off....how can the meat be so cold that it seemed refrigerated... I guess they made the meat ahead and just assembled the burgers when they are ordered ... Probably NOT going back to this location...
Read moreDrive thru customer service was very poor. The customer who took My order charged me for a cone when I originally asked for 2 vanilla shakes which she said it comes in 1size. Her attitude was so bad,I asked for a refund and I was told to come back Monday when the store manager would be in. The manager on duty got on the phone and called her boss and told me that her boss would be arriving shortly from Hallandale, and the boss lady said I couldn't get my refund and too call the cops. The employee who took My order was very rude and disrespectful I was told her name was DESTINY and I was not given a receipt which I asked for multiple times. The mgr didn't removed the employee from drive-thru window this was a total bad experience, my 16.78 that I spent was wasted and I was forced to take food in which I asked for a refund which mgr told I had to wait till Monday, I asked about burger policy Information and was deny that as well. Manager never gave me my receipt and left the drive thru ,I'm unhappy I strongly believe I was denied my full refund, as a customer I should not have been forced to take food when I ask for a refund, customer service from manager on duty and the young lady DESTINY which is the name they told me was unpleasant and I will not return to this burger King location, and I will go to Hr immediately. It was wrong for them not to give me a receipt and with the employee who took My order. As I left she took her middle finger at me, please look at the cameras ,she should be terminated, that's not how you treat customers. My hard owned money wasted something needs to resolved still for the bad...
Read moreThis is my nearest BK. It is hands-down the WORST Burger King anywhere. I've traveled around most of this country, been to BK's in good and bad neighborhoods, in cities and boonies, and even in other countries where it's known by other names (e.g. "Hungry Jacks" in Australia). Service is usually stellar, and the food... well, it's BK, and they do a decent job of maintaining consistency with that at least. But in terms of service, the one at this location really needs to be shut down. I don't see any other remedy. On the rare occasion I've encountered someone interested in doing a decent job, that person is gone the next time I visit.
Final straw: recently tried to order breakfast. Nobody in line behind me in the drive-thru, and the woman at the window - who was already distracted by her own cell phone - insisted I pull forward to wait for my food, because she didn't want her drive-thru "wait time" to look bad. Let me repeat that - there was NOBODY ELSE in the drive thru, and very few people in the store, but I was expected to not wait a minute while they prepared my food. When I stood my ground, rather than make any effort to actually do their damn jobs, she threatened "then I'll just refund you." I gladly accepted that challenge, and went to McDonald's instead - which was very busy, and yet had no trouble having my order ready for me at the window very quickly.
Hey, BK - SHUT THIS ONE DOWN! It is literally a disgrace to your entire company!! Eventually, maybe demand will return enough to open a new one, with new management that actually gives a s* about running a decent restaurant. BUT THIS ONE NEEDS TO GO...
